CHAPTER FIVE: THE VISIT

A few weeks have gone by and jacks been nothing but a total laugh. He's actually really great once I got to know him and was forced to be stuck in a tiny cold hospital ward with him. He always makes me laugh before I have to get an injection or something like that. I can honestly say we're best friends now. Mom, dad, Zendaya and Emma have visited me everyday but today they can't because their going to Finneos's grave...it's his death anniversary today and I'm really sad I can't go. I haven't seen Zach since the first time we met. Jacks gotten visits from his mom, dad, older sisters Ava and Sydney and his adorable little sister Isla. He introduced me to them and they love seeing me. I take them as my own sisters now and they always tease Jack and I and they say we should date. I wake up to jack pulling a silly face

B: haha, what on earth?
Ja: morning beautiful

Once again the mood changes. I've told him multiple times to stop calling me beautiful but he never listens. He notices my sudden mood change and looks curious

Ja: why do you do that?
B: what?
Ja: that mood, that face whenever I call you beautiful?
B: it's nothing
Ja: Billie please don't shut me out, I want to help you. I know I seem like a goofball but I can be serious when I have too...c'mon it's me, if you can't trust me then...who can you trust?

I've never told anyone about this except for the people that were there with me when I went through it but...Jacks right, if I can't trust him then who can I trust? I tell him about my anorexia and eating disorder, ahoy Haley and why I don't see myself as beautiful anymore. Then lastly...I tell him about cutting my arms and hands, and my wrists. I feel the tears stinging in my eyes. Jack had started tearing up as well. He starts struggling out of his bed and shuffling towards my bed

B: Jack what are you doing you're gonna hurt yourself!

He doesn't answer me and keeps moving towards my bed until he is laying next to me and holding me tight in his arms. I still feel the physical pain of my injuries but I don't care because this moment with jack is all I can think about right now. I'm trying to stay strong but when I see a tear slip from his eyes I let mine fall too. I bury my head in his chest while we both hold each other and cry.

Ja:I don't even know where to start, I- I'm so sorry you didn't deserve that but...I'm not sorry for calling you beautiful because that's what you are
B: if I was beautiful I wouldn't have to grow this fringe to cover my face, I wouldn't get bullied and I wouldn't only have one friend!
Ja: let me tell you something Incase you didn't realize,You are by far the most beautiful angel I've ever seen...too stunning for words to describe! When you look in the mirror I need you to start seeing yourself and not all the ways that you could be someone else. Don't change, every part of you is just right. Why cover up your flaws when they make you who you are? I wish you knew that imperfections make you an exception. No ones perfect-not even Haley though she acts like she is I know for a fact she has insecurities about herself too.People only bully you because they envy you, envy your beauty and the people that seem like bystanders only laugh along because of the fear of getting bullied themselves. I wish you could understand how beautiful you are inside and out!
B: Jack...
Ja: why did you cut yourself?
B: I thought that maybe the physical pain would be worse than the emotional pain but I was wrong
Ja:when last did you do it?
B: not since I came back from the rehabilitation center but I have been tempted to many times, the music helps
Ja: the next time you feel tempted I want you to call me or text me and I'll be right there, always okay?
B: thanks Jack that means a lot more than you think
Ja: wipe those tears off your face, you know I love you right?
B: yeah, I love you more
Ja: you didn't deserve that
B: well what can you do, haha
Ja: how do you do that?
B: what?
Ja: brighten up the mood like that
B: it's a gift hun, not many have it
Ja: haha
B: haha
Nurse: Jack Avery, you have visitors coming!
Ja:yes! The boys are here
B: boys?
Ja: my best friends, you'll love them I promise
B: okay, if you say so

He stands up to move across back to his bed. I look down to adjust a bandage and I'm shook by loud voices that come booming into the ward

C+D+Jo+Z: Jack! Buddy-

I see four familiar faces frozen and staring at me. They are all wide eyed and shocked.

C+D+Jo+Z: Billie?!
B: Corbyn? Daniel? Jonah? Zach? You know each other?
Ja: you guys know Billie?How?!
D: we met at school...I helped her pick up her notes
B: about that did you by chance see my dairy that morning?
D: d-dairy...no...uh...Jonah you talk now

I'm trying to keep calm but I'm honestly freaking out. I don't know where my dairy is and I'm worried that someone has it

Jo: we met at my new favorite coffee shop which is also her's
C: we also met there
Z: I would...rather not say how we met
Ja: c'mon bro you have to
Z: well...
C: Zach!
Z: alright fine. So I kinda took my moms uh...car
Jo: Zach! Dude you know you can't drive properly
Z: yeah I definitely know that now! Anyway she uh...didn't hear me honk and the car was in momentum-
Ja: Wait...you're telling me that you're the reason she's in here?!
Z: well...I-
B: he saved my life so it's okay
D: well...what happens now?
B: simple,you guys go back to being friends and forget about me
C: I can't do that...you're stunning
D: yeah...you're gorgeous
Jo: I haven't been able to stop thinking about you
Z: yeah me neither...it's kinda been hard to
Ja: oh I see...boys a word please
D: uh...jack buddy
Ja: yeah?
D: you can't get out the bed
Ja: oh yeah...uh...
B: wait...were you not allowed to get of bed?! Jack!
Ja: I had too! I couldn't just sit here
C: I got an idea. Nurse! The lady needs the restroom!
B: what...hey!
Ja: please sweet cheeks, for me?

I really did appreciate what jack said earlier so I guess I owe it to him.

B: ughh fine!

The nurse comes and helps me out of bed to the bathroom. I'm curios to know what the boys talk about.

JACK'S POV:
D: sweet cheeks?
C: for me?
Jo: is there something going on between you two?
Ja: I wish...wait...why would you all care if there was?
Z: isn't it obvious...I'm falling hard for her bro
Jo: yeah...I'm in love with her
C: can't get her out my head
D: when I look at her...ahh...I've never felt such a feeling before!
Ja: me too gents but...we all like her?
Z: we just broke our number one bro code
C: but she's worth it
Jo: yeah, I never thought it would happen. We've all fallen for the same girl?
D: yeah...what now?
Ja: I guess there's nothing else we can do but let her choose I guess
Z: yeah
D: well jack we did come here to see you buddy
Jo: yeah, how you been boyzo
Ja: Honestly, I just miss my husband
Z: I miss you too!
C: I guess you can't date Billie because then you'd be cheating on Zach, so I'll just date her
Ja: oh no, Zach will understand when I date her
Z: no Jack will understand when I date her
D: too bad she's already mine
Jo: no way! She's mi- oh no Boys is it this bad?
Ja: haha, yeah I guess
