I quickly pull away from Daniel's embrace wanting to find out where the voice is coming  from
B: Haley?
I see the one and only Victoria-secret-model-wanna-be in devil form standing there with her fancy phone held up to Daniel and I's faces
H: that's right bitch! I'm back from my luxury holiday around the continent. You missed me?
B: you wish
She steps forward until she is practically breathing down my neck
H: if I were you, I would watch the attitude
B: and what makes you think I would ever do something you say
H: because If I post this video of you and your little boyfriend sticking your tongues down each other's throats- gross-your life will be ruined, well not like you had one to begin with but still! I have all the power right here in my hand

Daniel and I exchange worried looks. As much as I hated to admit it she was right.If that video goes out then Zee will think that I don't care about making things right and I'm not ready for the boys to find out about the kiss yet. It will all just look worse than it really is. I feel like slapping her so hard as I see her eyes wondering up to Daniel. She starts twirling her hair and batting her fake lashes at him

H: oh, I didn't notice...you don't look that bad at all
D: never gonna happen

She puts her slim fingers on Daniels shirt and she starts fiddling with the buttons while making a flirty face. I felt a sudden urge of jealousy come over me. Daniel quickly grabs her fingers and flings them off his shirt.

D: if I wanted to date some fake, slutty, wanna-be-Billie I would have a long time ago because almost every girl in this school wishes they were as pretty as my lady over here. Yeah, that's right. Dont act all innocent with me, I know you've been torturing Billie for years!

I can't help but smile at his words.I feel so special...wait a minuit-did Daniel just turn down the Haley Bieber of southern Hills? As much as I hate her, she really is pretty and guys practically drool over her. And wait another minuit- Did Daniel just call me his lady?! I try my hardest to hide my red cheeks from blushing as Haley flips out

H: ugh! You can keep your stupid girlfriend, you don't deserve me anyway. And if I were you I would watch your mouth, remember with one click of a button this goes viral around the whole school
D: ooof I'm so scared
He says sarcastically
H: you should be!
D: oh please I'm not scared of your empty threats! Billie and I kissed, so what! That's what people who love each other do. And of course You wouldn't know what love is,you have your tongue down random boys like every minute of everyday so if you think the school will make fun of us for kissing then you are mistaken.I suggest you get of your high horse and get over yourself you phony air head!

Oh damn, he told her! Did Daniel just say that to Haley? Like THE Haley Bieber who like runs the whole school? What a legend. I stand there stunned...no boy has ever done that for me. hold up, did he just say we are in love? Like with each other? This boy just can't turn off his charm

H: oh no you didn't! I know you just didn't speak to mwa, Haley Bieber like that! You're so gonna regret that
B: uh...technically the correct grammar is you are going to regret that not you are so going to regret that, it just doesn't make sense
D: ooofff
He says giving me a high five
H: I know you didn't just speak to me like that!
D: well too bad coz we just did. Release your little video, I couldn't even pretend to care. Now if you'll excuse us, my lady and I have some unfinished business to take care of

Out of nowhere Haley sticks out her bony hand and smacks it hard across Daniels face. He clutches his jaw. I feel a sense of rage come over me that I've never felt before. That's when I loose it and I go bat crazy on the girl

B: did you just slap him?!
H: yeah, what are you gonna do about it. He can't hit me, a boy can't hit a girl it's school rules so he can't lay a hand on me
B: but a girl can

All my emotions from the horrible day I've had so far combine to give me the strength that I release in the hardest back hand slap across her face.Pain immediately explodes across my knuckles but I don't pay attention to it.At first we're both shocked because I can't even believe that I just did that. Then she clutches her nose as blood starts drizzling down...woah, I didn't know I could do that! I kinda feel bad but then I remember how she's tortured me all these years and what she's just done to Daniel and any bad feelings vanish to be replaced with more anger

B: If you so much as look at Daniel again I won't go as easy next time. No one messes with that beautiful soul on my watch and I mean that

DANIELS POV:
did I just hear right? Are my ears deceiving me or did Billie- the love of my life, my soulmate- just say no one messes with me, a beautiful soul on her watch?! I didn't think it was possible for me to love her any more then I already do but Damn, she proves me wrong every time I see her beautiful face. She just slapped her biggest enemy, someone she's always been afraid of...for me and I don't think she realized

H:No one hits me and gets away with it!
she says with a look of insanity in her eyes as she swings a fist but Billie ducks and she misses
B:Well watch me bitch!
Did Billie just swear?! Damn, that's hot
H: Over my fuckin dead body!
B: That can be arranged!

I know I need to stop this but I'm frozen, rooted to the spot as I'm hypnotized by what Billie is doing for me. I force myself to snap out of my daze before Billie puts this girl in hospital and gets expelled

D: woahhh okay that's enough!

I grab Billie by the waist and I literally have to carry her squirming body out the bathroom and away from Hazel while they carry on shouting at each other. I put her down when we reach the lockers well away from the bathroom and I immediately pull her into a tight hug. Class is about to end soon so i pull away to get a word in before hall rush hour begins as everyone makes their way to the cafeteria for lunch

D: hey, hey calm down. Are you okay?
B: yeah, you?
D: I can handle a little bitch slap
B: doesn't look like it was so little
She says softly placing her hand over my hurt cheek
D: what do you mean?
B: it bruised like your whole cheek and there's a small scratch...probably from her fake nails 
D: oh no! My gorgeous face, whatever shall I do!
I say teasing her
B: haha, okay sarcasm noted but yes you do have a gorgeous face
D: really?!
B: maybe
D: can you literally get any cuter
I say giggling
B: says you! That giggle just killed me
D: hehe, stop it you're making me blush

Are we actually flirting? I never thought this would finally happen! I grab her hand and I realize that her knuckles are bleeding

D: you're bleeding
B: really! I showed her didn't I!
D: haha you did but lets get these checked out
B: no need, it's nothing
D:no, it's something and I'm taking you to the nurses office
B: seriously Dan, it's nothing I can't handle. No need to go there but I do want to get some ice on that cheek of yours
I love how she's so strong and how she hates being given attention because she always puts others first
D: my cheek's fine now let's go to the nurses office and get your knuckles sorted so I can hold your hand already
B: I have another one for a reason
D: oh yeah, well I'm going to take that one and drag you to the nurses office
B: try me
D: don't make me pick you up
B: I slapped Haley and I can do it to you too you know

BILLIE'S POV:
Dan jokingly wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up
B:put me down!
I say giggling but he does as he is told
D: C'mon it's almost lunch and I want to get your hand checked out before we head there
B: why do you have to be so caring
D: only for you
B: fine
D: yes! I win, you loose, I win , I-
B: I'm thinking if you don't stop singing that Then I won't go to the nurses office
D: uh...right! Sorry

We giggle and walk away hand in hand. I think I've really fallen for this boy
