Jealous

"She really said that?! Oh my Jennie, we are doomed!" Irene worriedly exclaimed on the other line. I immediately called her after Lisa left me dumbfounded alone in their library, saying every stunt that I did is useless, the engagement is really gonna happen in no time

I paced back and forth inside my room while nibbling my nail "Yes she did, what to do now Irene? Are we still going to push this? What if we get caught?"

She sighed heavily "We have no other choice Jennie, you already appeared to them as me. You have no other choice but to continue pretending as Lisa's fiancée until my mom comes back. By then, I will deal with her by myself and you'll be free"

I seated on my bed and heave a deep sigh, so I really have no other choice but to stay here with Lisa for months. Why does she want this stupid marriage anyway? She could've say no to her parents and besides Irene don't really want to be married to her. I wonder what's pushing her to continue this

"When will your mother come back by the way?"

"Maybe before Christmas Jennie, I think the engagement will happen before the year end so bear with Lisa until this December, I am thinking of other plans right now"

I nodded my head, like I have a frigging choice. "Okay then"

I've gotten myself into this so there's no escape. I will continue this mission for the sake of reaching my dreams

"Just bear with your fiancée Jen Jen" she chuckled

I heavenly rolled my eyes at the thought. Right, she's my "fiancée"

"She's originally your fiancée for your information"

"But I'm not the one who's being treated as the fiancée you know, Jennie Kim" she teased even more

"Whatever Irene.." I said as I lay on my bed

"How about your father Jen? Is he not gonna look for you? You'll be gone for 2 months you know" Irene asked worried on the other line

"I already told him that I'll be gone for work so no need to deal with him. If it is for money then, he would not dare say no to me or even stop me"

She chuckled "And what kind of work is it then? Pretending to be someone else's fiancée?" She joked again

"Yah it's not funny! You forced me into this you know!" I chuckled, we endlessly talk some random stuff until I heard a knock on my door, making me end my call with Irene immediately without even saying goodbye. I'm afraid they will hear what we are talking about

I opened my door and it revealed Joy, she bowed first before she speaks "Dinner is ready ma'am Irene, ma'am Lisa is already waiting for you downstairs"

I just nodded my head, so I have to deal with her again. I took a deep breathe when we finally reach their kitchen

Lisa is already in her seat scrolling her phone while their maid is on her side serving her food, she darted her eyes on me when I accommodated myself on her right

Her eyebrows furrowed when she landed her eyes on the thin silky lingerie I'm wearing "What's with your clothes again?"

I raised my brow up "What's your problem with my clothes again?" I asked with the same tone she's using

I saw how the other maid took a glance on me then to Lisa while serving her a cup of orange juice in a glass cup

"That's too revealing, your cleavage is showing" Lisa said with her eyebrows still furrowed, her eyes now darted on my chest.
