Chapter 1

Jess' pov

"Jess come on you have to get out of bed you have school in an hour!!" My mum Nicole shouted as she pulled the quilt off of me.

"Arrrrr no mum please 5 more minuets?" I said pulling them back on me.

"No 5 more minuets will then turn into 30 minuets and you don't want to be late for school... AGAIN!" She said walking out my room and closed the door behind her to leave me to get dressed.

I walked into my own bathroom and turned on the shower. I let the hot water run down my body as I washed my self through. After my nice refreshing shower I dried my hair and let my lose brown hair flow down my back. I got out some black skinny jeans and put on my favourite hoodie. I put on my white converse and brushed my purely what teeth. I grabbed my bag and we down stairs.

"Have you had breakfast sweetie?" My dad asked.

"No I'm not hungry" I said as I walked out of the front door and got into mums car.

At school

Lauren's pov.

I've been going to Foresham High (made that up (I think)) for a quote a few months now, and I've made so many friends but Jess is my best friend. And no I'm not just saying that because her Mums Nicole Scherzinger, although I have to admit, I fangirled so much when I first met her. But now she's like a second mum to me.

~flashback~

It's my first day at this new school. I don't know where any classes are or any teachers. I just hope I will find one friend today just one friend. As I get out my timetable to see what my first lesson is me being the clumsy thing I am I bump into someone.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I looked up into some big green eyes. She is beautiful.

"Haha no worries. Are you new here I don't think it have seen you before?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm new I do to know where any of my classes are or anything I'm hopeless" I said looking down at my timetable again.

"What's your first lesson I will take you if you want?" She offered.

"Thank you so much! I'm Lauren by the way what's your name?" I asked her as I gave her my timetable.

"I'm Jess! So you have maths first your with me for this lesson I will take you come on!" She said as she walked down the hallway.

We walked for about another 5 minuets around the school and finally we were at the right lesson.

"Sorry I'm late sir" Jess said. She took her seat at the back of the room next to a black haired girl.

"It's okay Jess" he said. "So who do we have here?" He said to me.

"I'm Lauren I'm new here" I said

"Right well you can sit next to Cory over at the back corner" he said pointing to the left corner of them room.

I walked over to my seat and sat down with all eyes on me. This is going to be a long day.

"Lauren, if Cos is 54 degrees, what's x?" The teacher said snapping me out of my trance, I was over thinking my mum a bit too much. I looked up at him blankly.

"Um... I don't know?" I said raising an eyebrow.

~end of flashback~

So here I was back in the same maths class. I don't know how I'm in set 2 maths. I was moved next to Jess a few weeks ago and ever since then, we've been getting in trouble.

"So you still coming over tomorrow?" Jess asked me

"Yeah I think so"

"Yay!" She said. I laughed and she laughed in response.

"Jess! Maybe you can tell me what the answer is" sir said

"I don't know it sir" she said with attitude making everyone giggle.

"You are going to fail your GCSEs if you keep talking. Now move over next to Morgan!" He said. Everyone gasped at his comment about failing.

"Sir, I'm telling my mum what you said, then you can tell it to her face!" Jess said

"Just go sit over there!"

"No, I can't see from there!"

"Okay maybe Lauren would like to go sit there" he said pointing at me

"It's rude to point" I said

"Both of you go to referral!" He pointed to the door, everyone was looking at us laughing. And so we both got up and left.
