Chapter 8

Jess' pov

Okay so my mum has rung social services and they said that Lauren can stay with us. When my mum told me this is was so happy. Me and Lauren are already like sisters but now we will be like twins!! Lauren is moving all her stuff into her new room with my dad's help whilst mum is at work. So I might as well go into the studio on practice on a song for the arena. I'm getting more nervous now because I'm getting closer and closer to my dream. I never want it to end.

"Lauren I'm just going down into the studio to practice my song so if you need me or want to join me then you are welcome to come down" I say as I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and walked down the stairs into the basement/ my studio.

"Okay I will come down in a bit!" She shouted as I closed the door to the studio and turned the light on. I made my way over to my blue couch in the corner of the room and grabbed my Apple Mac and looked down my playlist of songs. I played a few songs seeing which ones I liked best. After about an hour of looking at songs I finally found one.

"YES!" I shouted.

"What are you so excited about" Lauren laughed as she sat down next to me.

"I finally found the song that I can sing for my arena audition!" I say happily.

"Awww go on then put your head phones on and get the microphone ready and I will play and record the song for you" Lauren said as she made her way in the spiny chair and started to play the music once I was ready.

That I am yours' I finished the song perfectly as Lauren stopped the recorder and jumped up and down with excitement.

"That was amazing Jess you have to sing that at the arena people will love it!!" She say.

"Well I guess I have found the song then!" I say hugging her.

"What would I do with out you Jess!" Lauren said as she hugged me back.

"I don't know you tell me what would you do with out me" we laugh. Then the rest of the afternoon we just spent in the studio messing about recording things and just having fun. I love Lauren so much. I just wanted to get her mind off things because she doesn't deserve to be in that much pain all the time so I wanted to be that best friend that is there for her through times like this.

Lauren's pov

It was around midnight and I was ready. I'd planned to run away, I can't live here anymore, I'm putting everyone under so much stress because of my mum. I was waiting in bed for everyone to go to bed before I went.

"Nanite sweetheart" Nicole whispered softly popping her head round the door and blew me a kiss.

"Night" I smiled and she left, I heard her go into Jess' room, then I heard her and lewis talking, I could hear them in their room. I was just about to get out of bed but the door creaked open.
