Lauren's POV

I had just woken up and looked at my phone, half past 3 in the afternoon. Jetlag problems. I rolled out of bed and put on my dressing gown and went downstairs, as I opened the living room door, nobody was in there. I could hear people talking in the kitchen so I skipped there and slid in through the doors on the glossy floor, almost hitting the table.

'Good morning!' I said

'Afternoon' Jess said

'What?'

'It's half 3'

'Oh yeah' I giggled when I remembered checking my phone. 'What are we doing today?' I asked

'Well, we're all rehearsing, so I don't know what your doing' Hannah said, making me laugh.

'Okay, I'll find something' I said and ran out the room.

I went upstairs and got dressed into shorts and a floaty crop top with my bikini underneath. When I was walking out the door of mine and Jess' room, I saw Nicole walking my way.

'Hi Nicole' I sung happily. She didn't say anything, just turned me around and lead me to her room and shut the door. 'What?'

'Is it true?' She asked clutching a piece of paper in her hand.

'Is what true?' I said still smiling

'Well maybe you should read this?' She said and gave me the paper, I took it off her and read it.

To Nicole,
Did you know that Lauren is pregnant?

I recognised the hand writing but wasn't sure where from.

'What? So you think this is true?'

'I don't know, you tell me'

'Well it's not!'

'Don't you dare raise your voice at me' she said, I couldn't help but laugh. 'So you think this is funny now?!'

'It's a nervous laugh, chill'

'Chill? Chill?! How can I chill when I find a note like this?'

'Well I've just told you it's not true, so you can chill'

'Well what about that night when you came home at 3 in the morning pissed? Then on the plane here you told me that boy raped you, again!'

'If you'll excuse me' I said getting up.

'Where are you going?'

'I don't like to talk about my past, now if you don't mind...' I said opening the door and leaving.

Pregnant?! What? Even if I was, I don't know how someone else would find out. I'm so confused. I put my sandles on and got my bag and money and was about to leave for the beach.

'Where are you going?' I heard Jess ask

'The beach'

'Well are you okay?'

'Yeah why wouldn't I be?'

'I heard you and Nicole arguing' she said.

'Oh it was nothing'

'Didn't sound like nothing'

'It's fine Jess, honest' I said leaving it there and walking out the door down to the beach.

When I got there, I instantly took my sandles off and my toes sunk into the warm white sand. This is where I felt at home. I sat down and just stared at the sea and all the families that were playing. I loved the beach so much, I haven't been since last year, the time when my mum got sick. We used to be a proper family, my mum, my dad and me. Those were the days. But then about a month before my mum got sick, my dad met someone else, he wouldn't tell me who he met, he said he knew I wouldn't like it, so that was that, I haven't seen him in about a year, I get the odd text on my birthday and Christmas but that's it. It wasn't long before I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. Some little kid came up to me with a tissue in his hand handing it to me.
