Chapter 16

Jess' POV

We were finally back at the house and I walked straight up the stairs and into mine and Lauren's bedroom. I jumped on the bed and rang Nicky straight away. 3 rings later he picked up.

"Helllllllo!" I say smiling into the phone.

"Heyyyy Jess" he said "how's it going?"

"Everything at this moment just seems so perfect. We had a great time tonight and everyone just seemed to be getting along so well. I even saw mu--- Nicole go over to Lauren and give her a hug so it seems like they've sorted things out with each other."

"Wow I'm glad that everything is going okay" he smiled "so what happened with Lauren and all that lot?" He asked.

"Well this is going to be a long FaceTime call" we both laugh into the camera.

"No way! I can't believe it! So Lauren didn't do it?" Nicky asked shocked.

"No she didn't. I'm not going to say that I have believed her all this time because I haven't but now... I believe her and I wish I had done from the start" I say looking across the room at Lauren who came in half way through me telling Nicky what happened. "So enough about that! Tell me about you!"

"Everything is fine. I'm feeling a bit more confident. I've been on the phone to my family back home and they keep reassuring me that I'm fine. I really hope I've done enough to get through. We all went down to the pool and had a bbq for tea so all good. We had a blast!" He said.

"Sounds amazing!"

"Right well I think it's your bed time Jess" he laughed at me as I yawned.

"I think it is! Goodnight Nicky and good luck!"

"Goodnight Jess."

I put my phone on my bed side table and look over to Lauren's bed. She's lying fast asleep with the quilt halftime off her and half on her. I walk over and pull the quilt up to her neck and put her hair off her face and turn her bedside lamp off. I walk into our bathroom and brush through my long hair until it has been detangled and brush my teeth. I get changed into some pj shorts and a short sleeved top. I walked back into our room and crawled into bed before turning off the lights.

Lauren's POV

I woke up to the sound of Jess moving around.

"What are you doing?" I asked her sleepily.

"We leave tonight, after the results, you have to pack" she said

"What time is it?"

"7Am" she said, I groaned and pulled the cover over my head and slowly fell back asleep.

I woke up again, checking the time, seeing that it read half 12. Lovely lie in. I sat up, looked in the mirror opposite and laughed at my messy hair, before getting out of bed and making my way over to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and got in the shower. When I was out, I put my black denim shorts on with a pink Cami, and my bikini underneath. I brushed my wet hair and put it in a loose bun at the top of my head to dry.

As I went downstairs, I could hear talking coming from the outside sitting area.

"What's up with you lot?" I asked the girls.

"Hm, maybe the fact that our futures are currently being decided by Nicole right now" Tamera said, laughing nervously

"Aw, I'm sure you'll be fine, good luck!" I said and turned around and back inside. I felt my phone buzz as I sat on the couch in the living room.
