( Whats up guys thanks for waiting! Had to take a little spring vacation break because I was starting to get a burn out on writing stuff. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT NOTE in the chapter, "Becoming A Student" I wrote a mistake. Maks wasn't supposed to tell Ozpin about his past in that Chapter but I accidentally made it happen way too early. By the time this is out I'll have fixed that problem but for any old readers just wanna make sure everyone's on the same page =)

Ruby POV
In a white and clean lounge room sit two teenage girls, one of them is sadly looking at the carpeted floor and the other one is laying back in the chair looking at the ceiling deep in thought.
Ruby: Yang...do you think Maks is gonna be alright?
Said Ruby still not taking her focus off the ground. Yang moved her eyes to the spot Ruby was sitting and saw her guilty expression, in return, she put her hand on her back and rubbed it hoping to calm her down.
Yang: Just hope only for the best, he wouldn't want you worrying yourself to death.
Ruby seemed to calm down after that but then she asked Yang a question that even made her unsure.
Ruby: Back at the end of the fight do you remember Maks saying something about not losing someone he cares about again? Who do you think he lost?
Before Yang could question that herself a voice caught both of their attention.
Masked Doctor: Hello Miss Xiao Long and Miss Rose. Nows an acceptable time to visit the patient since he is in stable condition. Although now he is currently unconscious from the medicine we gave him, we find it necessary to reassure family members and friends that their loved ones are ok with their own eyes.
Ruby and Yang got up out of their seats and followed the doctor leading them through the long hallways of the hospital. Eventually, he stopped at a door and talked to them before ushering them in.
Doctor: The nurse that has been assigned to taking care of your friend can answer your questions about his health. Also if it helps any, she is the best nurse this hospital has and is a very caring person.
The doctor opens the door for both of them and they walked in. After the door shuts behind them they took in the details of their surroundings looking for Maks. The room was nice and clean. Taking up an entire wall opposite of the curtain blocked bed was a long counter filled with an array of shelves, cabinets and a built-in sink inside the counter. The far end wall facing the door had a shelf filled with books a tv sitting on top of it and a window next to its left side that showed a nice view outside the hospital from a height of two stories. Ruby saw some movement from her left and turned to spot a blue-haired rabbit fuanus sitting on a wheeled swivel chair while writing things down on a clipboard.
