"Forgive me, maam, but-"

"Dont call me maam, it makes me feel old."

Karai shrunk down in her place, but cleared her throat and tried again,

"Um, Mrs. (L/n)? What is the point of making (Y/n) think the turtles are dead, when we are trying to find the turtles hideout? If they are dead, she would have no reason to-"

"Are you questioning me?" The mistress rose to her feet and glared down at Karai, making her feel small.

"N-no ma-- I mean Mrs. (L/n)." It hurt Karai to act so afraid in front of this woman. She loved being in control, above the situation at all times. Even in front of her father she was never afraid.

The only difference this woman had against Karai is that she thinks the exacts same way, only she uses her authority and quiet anger to get what she wants. Opposed to Karai's fiery attitude and rebelious impulses.

"Then why are you still here? Bring me (Y/n)," the woman paused for a brief second, allowing her eyes to drift, then quietly added,

"Bring me my sister."

(Y/n) POV

It may have been a few seconds, or it may have been a few hours, time seemed to spin just as badly as my head. Doublingback, rushing forward, spinning around into twists and knots I couldn't seem to focus.

I just couldn't stop thinking.

Most people explain their 'crisis' as a point where time stood still, for days even, but for me, it was the complete opposite. I couldn't stop thinking, moving, regretting, crying, it was just all too much.

I couldn't stand the sight of Raph, one sai by his side, and the other on the opposite side of the room. His grey, lifeless eyes staring off at the wall. A silky glass stained over where the sun used shine the most. His mouth slightly agap, and a trickle of dried blood hanging over his lip.

The room spelled metallic, the stench of death clinging to each corner. Drowning seemed a better fate than what I found myself facing now. The thing was, there was nothing to do. Sure, the Shredder still had me and all of New York, but what did it matter? I am without my friends, without my family, what do I have?

I bagan to shake, it had definately been a couple hours since i had gotten off my feet, and they were beginning to burn.

Yet, I remained standing, seemingly frozen. It was like no matter how badly I wanted to move, I couldn't.

It was almost a relief when the kraang bots entered the room and pulled me away. I didn't object, couldnt seem to figure out how.

So quietly, they dragged me out of the room and down a dark hallway, light by stray, old bulbs tangled to the ceiling. The gray walls flowed by like a colorless ocean, just slipping away.

My back was away from the direction we were going, so I had little to no time to prepare myself as they tossed my into the all too familiar throne room.

Over to the turtles

Leo, Donnie, and Raph found Shredders hideout in no time, following the beacon from Mickeys T-phone.

The moon was only a phase away from being full, giving just enough light to give the brothers and April and Casey to guide a path to the abandoned tech building the Shredder had found fitting to his needs.

The turtles stopped just a few blocks from Shredders lair and sat on a rooftop, putting their plan into action.

"Donnie, your up." Leo instructed, kneeling down onto the rooftop and placing a gentle hand on his brothers shoulder. Donnie ignored the gesture and focused on his screen, a seemingly overcomplicated digital code flooded across his phone.

Donnie leaned closer to his phone and studied the codes deliberately, the others watched in awe. Just seconds passed until Donnie gave Leo an assuring nod, he had finished his task.

"Good. Let's go!" Leos face transformed from brother to leader with scary speed as he turned his back to his friends and jumped from the roof they took refuge on and into the empty street below, the rest of the group following in pursuit.

Together they moved towards the dark building, leaping over cars and through alley ways with great speed and agility. Leo ahead of the others, of course, Raph a close distance behind, and Donnie beside Raph. Together they all made their way to a man hole, a short distance from the lair.

"Go!" Leo hissed, pulling the cover open just enough for his brothers to fit. Raph leaped down without hesitating, Donnie behind, Leo dived after them, dropping the cover softly to cover their entrance.

Slowly, they sloshed around a few tunnels below the streets of New York, navigating the maze of twists and turn until they managed to find a ladder leading directly into the middle of the belly of the beast.
