(Y/n) POV

I snapped awake immediately, no longer was the constant pressure of my lungs pounding in my chest. I could breath almost easier than before, and it felt great.

After a few minutes of just enjoying the fact I was out of the freezing water and in nice, new clothes, I decided to stand from the bed I was lying in.

But I couldn't

In fact, I could barely lift my neck from the sheets.

Within seconds my body started thrashing around against my own wishes, jerking around frantically.

I found it harder to breath as it seemed the whole room was closing around me.

"H-help... Please..." I gurgled in between gasps. The only thing I could see was the ceiling, clean and white. Bright lights hung from above my head, burning extremely close to my skin.

"Ah your awake, thought you could get away that easy, huh" a low, scratchy voice arose from my right, aproaching slowly. I couldnt turn my head, but I could feel their eyes over my helpless body. Strapped down to the table, and once again,

Alone.

" I have some news for you!" The man spoke excitedly, snapping gloves over his hands and pulling them tightly down his forearm, holding them over my head so I could watch him freely move over me.

I remained silent, breathing quickly and harshly through my nose, squinting my eyes a bit.

"We found your turtle friends! All thanks to you, I will be able to start experimenting on them here soon!" He squealed excitedly, clapping his hands like a five year old recieving a new toy.

"Thats not true, I didn't tell you anything" I whispered against my hoarse throat. The man chuckled, moving his face in front of mine, freakishly close.

"There are more than one way to get what we want, even when you are unconscious" he smiled, his face looked oddly friendly, like a child's doctor. Wrinkles near his lips regarding past laughs and smiles that he portrayed now. But the smile he showed now was not friendly, or welcoming.

No, it was more of a insane, mad-scientist type smile. Completely bonkers.

"Now! Before I begin, I am required to ask if you are allergic to anything?"

He reached behind his back and revealed a syringe, a bright green liquid radiating from it's glass tube.

I stared in horror as the man howled in delight, shaking his head slightly,

"Im just kidding, we don't really care," he grinned, slowly inserting the needle into my shoulder.

I could faintly see the bright green liquid move through my veins and spread throughout my body, making my face fall numb and my eyesight fuzzy.

"Now..... Im goin.... Almost......" And then I fell unconscious.

"RUN!" I screamed, shoving my sister out of the way of a falling bookcase. Her blue skirt fluttering in the breeze as she stumbled into my dads arms. My father and little brother were waiting in the door frame for us to join them so we could make it out together.

"I'll meet you outside!" My dad looked like he wanted to argue, but the ceiling was already beginning to collapse. With an exasperated cry, he grabbed my two siblings, slung them over his shoulders, and hauled them out of the building.
At this point, we had no idea about the Kraang invasion, or the mutations, or anything like that. All we knew was the building was coming down and we needed to get out. That was all that mattered.
