Third Persons POV
"Guys..... we really need to go!" Mickey shuffled uneasily as he continuously peeked out the broken shack door. Out of everyone in the room, he was probably the only one who understood that they where still stuck in the middle of a forest with a monster still lurking around. The others, in the other hand, where bickering-let me rephrase that- yelling at each other over what to do with (y/n). Some of them where afraid of what she was in general. She wasn't human, that's for sure. She may have been at one point, but not anymore. Some of them where hurt that she had hidden this from them despite the two months they had spent together. And (y/n), well, she was scared. She would never admit that, but she didn't know what they would do with her. They could do anything. They had the numbers and the strength, her fate lies in their hands.
"GUYS!" Donnie throws his arms in the air,
"WHAT ON EARTH COULD BE SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE TO TELL US RIGHT NOW?!" Mickey whimpered, glanced back out the door, then back at Donnie.
"It's back." Everyone froze.
"Get the door!" Raph hissed, shoving Mickey out of the way, grabbing a rake, and lodging it in between the handles of the moldy, wooden door.
"That won't hold it..." (y/n) whispered from behind the group, standing in a protective stance, forgetting all that had happened five minutes ago, saving it for another time. She had learned from her past it was best not to dwell on the past and deal with the now.
Then everything went silent. The turtles, April, Casey, and (y/n) stood, frozen, glancing at one another to focus their minds and listen to any signs of the creature getting closer.
Closer her eyes, (y/n) focused her mind on every movement. The wind softly pushing against the slightly green boards they claimed were walls, brushing the leaves from the nearby trees against the door. She focused harder, squeezing her eyes shut, and focusing outside, where the 'thing' lurked closer and closer with every passing second.
Chills ran down everyone back when it started clawing at the door. It's long, sharp claws dragged down from what was left of door frame down to the door knob. Again, and again, and again.
"I'm sick of this-" Ralph whispered, grabbing a shovel and approaching the door, anger and impatience twisting his gut into knots like a snake preparing for a strike.
"Wait!-" Donnie yelled after him, grabbing his arm. He opened his mouth to give Raph one of his famous, 'Don't do a That!' speeches, when he was interrupted a voice from just outside the door.
"Hey! Ugly!" The turtles sucked in a sharp breath at once, recognizing the voice at almost immediately,
It was Leo.
Shredders General
One mile away from farmhouse
22:38Not two days after the general and his team had left the lair had they already found a trail to the turtles whereabouts. They had begun searching the forest, under shredders orders, that exact day and have only traveled about ten miles from the city when they found major traces of mutagen.
As for the general himself, he was anxious to bring these, freaks, to his boss and finally get the respect he deserved. He had ordered three teams of 10 kraang soldiers to search anywhere within another ten mile radius. If they found nothing, they would move camp further and further till they did. It's not like he enjoyed working with the kraang, he preferred his foot soldiers. But he must follow Shredders directions carefully if he wants to keep his head.
"Kraang has found a house in the distance humans call, miles, of three." A bot approached the general with an high tech tablet in its grasp, showing a red blob near the middle of its display of the forest. The general stood from his table and snatched the tablet from the nasty alien bot and waved it away, studying the map closely.
Ignoring the howling wind that pressed against the camp with the force of a tornado and the quickly dropping temperatures, the seemingly emotionless man smiled, showing his many crooked, yellow teeth.
"Gather the teams up! The hunt begins now!" He howled with delight into his intercom. A series of shouts erupted from the camp as the once calm area turned to mass chaos.
"Those turtles are mine."
