3rd persons POV
Raph noticed too late that the door had been opened, and barreled right into the figure on the other side. The others hesitantly leaned out of the door frame to find Raph and a girl sprawled out on the floor, rubbing their now bruised foreheads.
"What the hell?" Raph groaned, rolling onto his knees, hoisting himself off the floor. The girl sat up, giggling a bit.
"Ive got to be honest, this isn't quite the welcome I was expecting..." She rose to her feet as well and stepped forward so the turtles could see her better.
"Karai!" Mickey squealed in excitement, running forward and embracing her in a hug. The others, however, were a bit hesitant.
"Where have you been? We have been looking for you everywhere! Last we heard you were mutated! And Sensei..." Leo growled, stumbling forward with the help of Donnie.
"I risked my shell for you!.... Me and Casey both!" Raph yelled, clenching his fist. Casey stepped forward and crossed his arms in front of his chest as if to make a point.
"Look, I'm really sorry, truly I am, but there was no way I could get to you guys!" Karai protested. No one said anything, realizing Karai wasn't talking to the group, but to Leo, who, instead of answering, glared at Karai until she turned away.
"Karai, on your way down here, did you happen to see our friend?" Donnie spoke softly, as to break the tension that had grown in the crowded hallway.
"You mean the girl?" Something flashed across Karai's eyes for a quick second, then disappeared. No one except Leo seemed to catch it.
"Yes! Yes did you see her? Is she ok?!" Raph questioned, trying to push his way through Karai and up stairs, but she placed her hand on his shoulder and shook her head.
"I saw her, yes, but she is long gone. One of my fathers generals had her, but she didn't look too good.." Karai trailed off, looking down. Mickey broke down in tears, runnng to April for comfort.
"What do you mean, 'didn't look too good?'"April practically yelled, making Karai flinch and shrink down where she stood.
"She was in a body bag." Karai whispered. Raph and Leo gasped simultaneously. Mickey began sobbing louder, burying his head into Aprils stomach, but April didn't protest. In fact, she didn't say a word, no one did. For the longest while, the group of teenagers stood in the poorly lit, hidden hallway between the basement and the stairs to the kitchen.
"What now, Leo?" Mickey sniffled, lifting his head out of the ruffles in Aprils shirt and up to his older brother.
Leo let out an exasperated breath, " To be honest, I don't know, Mickey. I just, I don't know..."
Shredders Lair
"Shredder! I have brought- get your hands off me- a prisoner of interest!" The general who Shredder had sent out to find the turtles only days ago charged into his throne room, with the escort of thee Kraang bots.
"Did you bring the turtles?" Shredder sounded almost bored, sprawled out on his seat elevated just enough to make him seem as the most important man in the room. But to him, he felt as the most important man in the world.
"Well- uh- well, no, no I did not, but I did bring-"
"Why do you disrupt your search to bring me a useless being when you could be searching for my turtles? Have you given up your search already? I will NOT hesitate to end you, worthless being!" The warlord shouted, rising out of his seat.
The general shrunk where he stood, frozen in spot.
"Actually, sir, I brought the girl..." Shredder stopped in his tracks, then noticed the bag the general had dragged in along with him.
"Is she really in there?" He questioned, all sense of authority leaving his voice, replaced with excitement.
"Y-yes! Yes, right here!" The general threw his shoulders back and held his head up high, like a child showing off a new pair of shoes.
Turning back to the bag, the general unzipped the bag, ever so slowly, to build anticipation. Just as the zipper had fallen past (Y/N)'s waist, she burst out of the bag and pummeled straight into the general.
"What the-!" He shouted before falling to the ground, (Y/N) jumping after him, landing blow after blow on his jaw until he passed out cold, then she struggled onto her feet and back against the wall.
"You!" She yelled accusingly at Shredder, ignoring the many, many Kraang bots that had already flooded into the room.
"Foolish child," Shredder rolled his eyes and turned back to his chair. Taking advantage of the diversion, (Y/N) charged through the Kraang bots and at the dark man, but was stopped short when a blow was landed upon her lower torso.
With all of the momentum she had built up, she went flying across the floor and slid right up to Shredders feet, curled into a ball to relieve as much pain as she possibly could.
"You are weak!" He yelled, kicking her side.
"You are foolish!" He kicked her again.
"And finally, my child, you are," Shredder picked her up by her collar, raising her to eye level. On the brink of passing out, she could hardly stop the blood from trickling down her lip as she tried to choke back a sob.
"Mine"
And with that, (Y/N) passed out.
grunting with delight, Shredder dropped (Y/N) to the ground and turned to his chair dramatically.
"Find her a cell, chain her up, and clean up this mess!" He called to his minions, sitting back on his chair where he felt like the most important man in the world.
