Third Persons POV
"So she just disappeared, then?!" Raph screamed at his brothers accusingly. They all sat back in the living room, trying to work out the problem as a team (Leo's idea), only for it to turn to a blaming game.
"No, Raph, that's not what I'm saying! If you could poke your head out of your shell for two seconds maybe you would have heard me! I believe she may have just wandered into the forest last night and got lost!" Donnie's blood rushed to his face, making him look greenish-red. He was now face to face with Raph, playing the good old see-who-can-glare-the-longest-before-the-other-backs-down-to-win-the-argument game. Raph was of coarse the king of this game, with his repulsiveness and stubbornness at his side to back him up.
"Enough!" Leo yelled, silencing his brothers and attracting all eyes. "This is getting us nowhere. We know...... think she is in the woods. Let's start there. Raph, take Casey and check out the left side of the forest. Donnie, you and Mickey check the right." The leader then placed his hand against the rough surface of the couch and hoisted himself onto his feet, hanging onto his crutches for dear life.
"And what about you? You can't exactly go wondering out into the woods on your own!" Donnie protested, gesturing to Leo's current state.
"I will stay here, incase she wanders back here." He sighs, limping out the front door and onto the porch where he sat in the rocking chair and waved his guilty brothers (and Casey (and April who insisted she tagged along)) as they entered the dark, unforgiving woods.
With his katanas by his side, he sat in the chair, rocking silently back and forth, listening to the wind flow smoothly though the neighboring trees. Watching the unforgiving sun slowly drift downward in a threatening way. It was only three in the afternoon, but it was already starting to edge towards the tree line.
'Please hurry' he whispered silently as he closed his eyes and meditated.
Over to Mickey and Donnie
"It's creepy out here..." Mickey whispered, grasping his flashlight tightly, shining it on every single detail that screamed MONSTER in his child-like mind.
"It's only dark because of how dense the wildlife is, it really is still bright outside. The faster we find (y/n), the faster we can get out of here." Donnie spoke calmly and smoothly, bringing his younger brothers nerves down to a mere minimum.
"(Y/N)!!!" The young turtle screamed into the darkness.
"Are you crazy?! What if something heard you!" Donnie's skin crawled by the thought of what could be lurking about in this kind of environment.
"Uh, duh. That's kinda the point." Mickey rolled his eyes at his brother's stupidity. Really, how do the others see Donnie as the smart one? He was obviously so much smarter.
"I meant something bad."
Oh.
On that happy note, Mickey turned back to his flashlight to keep his eye on anything monster related as the two traveled deeper and deeper into the woods.
Over to April and Casey
April, Casey, and Raph decided to split to cover more ground as soon as they left the stubborn leaders' line of sight, knowing he would never allow Raph to go on his own. Which now left the two teens alone to search for (y/n).
"Can you believe this?" April asks in disgust, Casey not catching her tone, though, took her seriously.
"I know right! This is nuts! You would think one would find it difficult to wander into the woods! I hope she is ok..." he said thoughtfully, knowing that, especially at her age, it must be terrifying to be out here all alone.
