Kate's POV

Smiles were plastered on our faces the whole drive home, I couldn't wait to tell the kids they would have three new siblings!

I pulled out my phone and texted Joe as we drove,

Kate - Hi Joe would it be alright if we collected you from Lukes house now, we have good news to tell you. Xx

Joe - Sure mum, Lukes mum isn't here right now but he said he would tell her I went home, see you soon.

"Hi Joe, did you have a nice time?" I asked a few minutes later as he hopped into the car. "Yeah, we went into town and met up with friends" "Ooh, any girlfriends?" Joked Leo raising his eyebrows. "Don't give him any ideas Leo" I laughed.

"I take it the appointment went well?" asked Joe noting our joking and messing. "We won't say anything until we get home, but yes it went really well" beamed Leo as he glanced at Joe in the rear view mirror.

Leo's POV

"We're home Mims" I shouted down the hall of the house a couple of minutes later. "Mummy, Leo your back!" exclaimed Bear excitedly as if he hadn't seen us for a week. I picked him up into my arms as Mia emerged from the kitchen.

"Where is the baby?" asked Bear looking at Kate confused. We all chuckled "you have to wait a few months Bear" she said "are you excited?" Bear nodded.

"How did it go?" Mia turned to us "it was great!, can you guys come in here a second?" Kate asked as she gestured us into the living room. I gave her a smile as the kids sat down. I began;

"As you know, your mum is pregnant, but this time it's going to be a little different" I announced "In what way?" asked Joe as he took off his shoes.

"Well," started Kate smiling, I squeezed her hand smiling back at her. "It's going to be very busy around the house from now on, because we're having triplets".

Kate's POV

"Yayyyyyyy" screamed Mia "do you know if any of them are girls Mum? I've always wanted a sister"

"Triplets sound cool, but I hope there's at least one boy, Girls are stupid" grumped Joe, "But you have Bear" protested Mia pointing at little Bear rolling around on the carpet.

"We don't know what gender any of them are yet, We just have to wait a little longer and then we can find out if you want". I suggested

"Okay, when will we be able to find out the gender?" Asked Joe. "Usually it's possible between 14 and 20 weeks" informed Mia, she was very smart and interested in medicine.

"There's going to be 8 of us in the house" said Joe quickly doing a sum in his head. "It's going to be so busy".

It was at that point I was thankful I had bought a 8 bedroomed house when we moved back to England, I had just realized how many of us there would actually be.

From now on 8 was going to be my lucky number, to represent the 8 most loved people in my life.
