The wedding

Kate's POV
"You look beautiful Mum" Mia gushed staring at my reflection in the mirror, it was the morning of the wedding and we were all getting ready.

I was wearing a fitted white wedding dress, with a slight train flaring out at the bottom made of lace, the shoulder straps were lace aswell running down to a lace back with velvet buttons.

My hair was up, tied and styled with baby hairs pulled out at the front, along with basic makeup.

"Aww Thank you Mia, so do you, your dress is beautiful on you" She was wearing a light pink satin dress just above her knees and cream heels. "Are the triplets ready?" I asked as I turned around to face her.

"Ya they are" she replied, "they're in the living room with Granny and Grandad and Joe and Bear". Isla and Lilly were wearing pink dresses and white pumps with sequins. They're hair was left down, leaving their blonde curls natural.

Joe, Bear and Noah were all in shirts and trousers and Joe had his hair gelled back. It was weird seeing him in clothes other then his school uniform or sports gear but at least he looked smart.

"Almost ready?" I heard dad shout up the stairs "the ceremony is at 1". I glanced at the clock which read 12. "We better go Mia" I said as we hurried down the stairs.

"Fourth time lucky?" My dad said as we waited for our cue to walk down the aisle. I had a different feeling now then I did all the other times I was walking down the aisle.

I felt completely definite this time. There was no doubt in my mind that I was making the wrong decision, I love Leo, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, I felt happy around him, I felt complete.

When the music started I walked out the side door with my dad and to the aisle, with Mia walking in front of us.

It was a small wedding with just family and close friends, along with a few celebs we were close with.

I glanced over to my mum, who was sitting next to my brother and sisters, with Isla, Noah and Lilly all sat quietly either sucking their bottles or dozing sleepily.

Immediately I saw Leo, standing at the top of the aisle with actor and good friend Tom Hardy as his best man. He looked incredibly smart and handsome, our eyes met, oh god, those eyes, so blue and so perfect.

I smiled at him as I continued my way down the aisle behind Mia, I was caught up in his eyes, nothing else mattered in that moment as time almost stood still, this was really happening, after all these years.

Once we reached the altar I parted from my dad and stood in front of Leo, holding his hands tightly, smiling with Mia beside me.

As my dad went to sit down he patted Leo's back "look after her Leonardo" he said Kindly.

Leo's POV
I was in a trance up until this moment, I promised him I would and gently took Kate's hands, staring into her loving eyes.

"Friends, we have joined here today to share with Leonardo and Kate an important moment in their lives. Their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives as one." the priest announced.

"If any person can show why they may not be joined together - let them speak now or forever hold their peace once the vows are said." He finished.

I turned to the crowd, praying no one would object. Thankfully they stayed quiet and I turned back to Kate staring into her eyes once more.

I turned around to Tom who winked and handed me the navy velvet box containing the rings.

I took a deep breath,
"I Leonardo take you Kate be my lawfully wedded wife. My partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live.

I smiled at Kate the whole way through my vows, I felt my heart could burst from the amount of love I have for her. Very carefully I took the diamond ring out of the box and slipped it onto her Left ring finger.

Kate's POV
I felt close to tears, I have never felt happier in my life than this moment, I felt Leo's fingers gently place the ring on my finger and smiled back at him.

"I Kate take you Leonardo to be my lawfully wedded husband. My partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live".

By the time I finished my vows my eyes were blurry with tears, carefully I placed Leo's ring on his finger, feeling his soft loving skin as I did so.

"With the power vested in Me, I know pronounce this couple Husband and Wife.

I leaned towards Leo and our lips met, I cherished the moment as he held me close, claps and cheers filled the room. There we were, officially married.
