"scared aren't we, bluementritt?"

the only response i could offer with the question was silence. i heard a sigh before the conversation continued.

"i suppose you must sort out your thoughts first before you take another step. kung hindi mo alam kung ano nga ba talaga ang nararamdaman mo, it'll only cause complication on both parties."

"i already did."

"then what? what's stopping you? alam kong sinalo mo halos lahat ng katorpehan nang umulan no'n dito sa lupa."

nahihirapan akong sumagot.

"bluementritt, having fear in committing is not something rare. lahat halos dumadaan diyan. the thing is, some are able to overcome it, some prefer to let it consume them until they can't do anything then, wala na. wala na silang magagawa. i'm aware na sa sitwasyon mo, it roots to tita and tito's history. but, alalahanin mo, they were able to get through it, together."

"it hasn't even been a year since we've met. it's kind of illogical."

"has growing feelings been logical since the beginning? no. isa pa, there's no bounds to them, bluementritt. some even takes a second to fall in love, assuming na hindi exaggeration ang pinagsasabi nila. feelings are like stray seeds. they only need nature to take them to places and they just grow there, and the next thing you'll know - they're already a lush kind of green."

"i don't get why you dragged me into this counselling, bluementritt. everyone finds me peculiar, with no experience or whatsoever in relationships. but since i am obliged as a friend, i'm saying this one thing: take the risk, or lose the chance."
