Chapter 8 

Maia's POV

My alarm went of indicating that I had to get up for school. I got out of bed and got dressed before walking to my en suite to do my hair and a bit of make up. When I was ready I walked downstairs and had an apple for breakfast before walking to school with my oxygen sack trailing behind me. Since Austin and I broke up I have been walking to school as I need the exercise. I plugged in my IPod and listened to a bit of Ed Sheeran. 

Half an hour later I arrived at school and walked to my locker. Luke came up to me. 

"Hey" He said. 

"Hey, you okay?" I said. I could tell all the girls were checking him out by the way they were looking at him.

"Yeah just tired from moving and all" He said. 

"Yeah, those girls over there are checking you out" I said. He shurgged. 

"I don't mind, they're a bunch of sluts anyway. I'd rather have someone who can be herself around me and wears hoodies rather than clothes that show a lot of skin. I'd rather have someone who loved and appreciated me for who I am anyday" He said and we started walking to tutor. (form/homeroom) I was stunned when he said that, I can't believe he's friends with me. I wish were mre than friends. 

"What do you have first?" I asked Luke.

"Music, you?" 

"Yeah same" I said. 

We arrived in music, I picked up a guitar, sat on a chair and started playing Ed Sheeran Photograph (Link on the side) singing to myself. Our whole music group stopped and looked at me including Luke. His mouth dropped open. When I finished our music group burst into a massive round of applause. Luke came up to me then. I stood up putting the guitar back. 

"That was amazing, I had no idea you could sing like that" He said. 

"Thank you, I'm not that amazing though" I said looking at my hands. 

"Don't put yourself down like that, you're amazing and you always will be" He said, I smiled. Did I hear that right? When he said that my heart litterly stopped.

"Thank you" I said giving him a small smile. 

He picked up the same guitar that I put down a few minutes ago. He started playing All of Me by John Legened, my all time favourite song! His fingers brushed over the strings as he started singing. 

What would I do without your smart mouth?

He kept on looking at me like the song was made for us. I know i've only known him for about 2 days but everything is different. He's different to the other guys I've been out with. He stared intensely into my eyes, I couldn't stop looking at him so I stared back into his deep blue dreamy eyes as he carried on singing.
