Chapter 3

Maia's POV

I went downstairs as my mum and sister were home. Dinner will be ready soon too.

"Mum what's for dinner?" I asked walking into the kitchen.

"We are going to have lasagna with a bit of salad. It will be done in a bit as I just need to heat it up" She replied.

"Okay, I'll be upstairs if you need me" I said walking out of the kitchen and up to my room. I decided to check facebook and twitter to kill time before tea was ready.

*10 minutes later*

Mum called me down to eat dinner.

After everything was tidied and put away for dinner I decided to take a walk to clear my head and to get some fresh air.

I grabbed my phone from my room as it has my music on it and just in case anything happened I can contact someone. I then walked back downstairs and put my shoes on ready to go out. I got my coat before walking out the door. I put my earphones in listening to music as I tried to discover my feelings. I just walked whist listening to music until I walked into something hard, I stumbled back a bit.

"Oh I'm really sorry" I looked up and saw ausin with his amazng blue eyes looking down at me.

"No, it's alright I wasn't watching where I was going, don't worry about it" I said.

"Hey do you wanna take a walk with me?" He asked me.

"Yeah sure" I replied.

"Haha that's a really funny story" I said trying but failing to flirt with him a little.

"It was, it was better when you were actually there" he said.

Suddenly I felt really weak, like I had no energy. It was a really strange feeling. My legs couldn't stand up fro me anymore. I fell to the ground and Austin rushed to my side.

"Maia, Maia can you hear me?" He said.

"Can't breath" was all I managed to choke out.

"I'm going to call an ambulance" he said taking out his phone out and dialing the number.

Austin's POV

I was walking with Maia and suddenly she just collapsed. I rushed to her side.

"Maia, Maia can you hear me?" I said frantically hoping she was alright.

"Can't breath" was all she managed to get out.

"I'm going to call an ambulance" I said taking out my phone and calling for an ambulance as quickly as possible. When I came off the phone the Ambulance was already on it's way.

*2 minutes later*

The Ambulance arrived and I jumped in to the ambulance as well. She got rushed to the hospital.

*At the hospital*

The paramedics took her out of the Ambulance and rushed her into hospital. I followed but I couldn't go into the room with her so I waited outside in the waiting room. I decided to call her mum and sister as they deserved to know what was happening. I got her phone before when we were in the ambulance. I got it out of my pocket, unlocked it and called her mum.

"Hi it's Austin, I'm friends with Maia. She's in hospital, you might want to come really quickly" I said.

"Okay, I'm on my way now" She replied and we hung up.

Ruth's POV

I was in my room listening to music and then mum called me down for something, I have no idea what. I walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"We gotta go to the hospital" She said frantically

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Maia's in hospital" She said. I ran to the car and got in it. She did the same.

When we got to the hospital we went to the reception desk.

"Hi we are looking for Maia Hall" mum said.

"Yeah she's room 316 which is down the hall, turn left up the stairs and she's the second door on the right when you get there" she said.

"Thank you" mum said and we rushed off at the directions she gave us.

When we got there their was another guy waiting. Mum walked over to him.

"Hi you must be Austin" she said.

"Yeah I am. They didn't let anyone go in. I think she's asleep at the moment. They haven't had any news about her to me either" He said.

"Oh right, thank you for your help anyway" mum said.

Just then the doctor came out and mum walked up to him.
