The sign was so bland. It just said enter. We got out of the car. I could feel the green grass under my shoes. It was so spongy. We take a second to stare at the sign.
"is this where we are going?" I asked
"yep"said Sabin. We are walking towards the entrance when a scrawny boy ran out to us. He looked like he was panicking. He had blond hair and blue eyes. he has curly hair.
"Welcome." he yelled at the top of his voice
"Hey isn't there usually someone else welcoming us." Nate asked
"Yeah. She is off being attacked by a monster. But know no one wants to die just to save her" Then the little boy walked back inside. I tried to follow but large iron gates shot out of the ground, an inch from me.
"Well, I guess we should go save her."said Nate
"Yeah sounds exciting."said Sabin
"Yes a fight. I hope there will be blood shed." said George happily.
"okay" I said We hoped in the car. I got shotgun. Once we were all in, Nate hit the gas. He really wanted to get there fast. I looked at the speedometer and we were going 150 miles an hour. If the car could go faster, he would have. I put on my seat belt thinking he would lose control. It only took about two minutes. When we finally got there, my jaw fell. I saw a giant monster. It had seven heads. They were leopard heads There were ten horns. The feet of a bear. And the mouths of of a lion. It was so strange looking. Then I saw her. She had blond hair and freckles. She was wearing a black shirt and black pants. Her pants were dirty from fighting this monster. She had cuts all over her arms. On er back was quiver of arrows. She had a re curve bow in her hand. A re curve bow is a long bow that curves the opposite way at the tips. She was lightening fast at shooting the beast. Every shot was precise. Then when I thought she would win the beast shot flames out of its mouth. She barley avoided the flames by jumping to the right.
That is when we got out of the car. Sword. Shield I thought as hard as I could. Then they appeared. I ran to the girl. Up close, I could tell she was about my age, maybe a few months younger. She had blue green eyes. Then I turned away. We had a monster to fight. I looked to my left and I saw Nate with a whole bunch of spears. He was throwing as fast as he could. On each spear was a chain. He was trying to tie it down. He had put chains all over it. The beast was stuck. It then broke the chains and got pissed off. It shot fire out of all its mouths and Nate's hair was singed. While Nate was busy looking at his hair, the beast hit him with it's paw. Nate flew about 100 yards away. He was probably knocked out because he didn't get up but he was breathing. Sabin was on its back hitting it with an axe over and over. I think Sabin felt like having a sense of of humor today. If you have ever blown into a cat's ear, the cat shakes its head and its funny. Also the cat gets pissed. That is what he did. He blew in its ear and the cat shook its head making Sabin fall off and lost conscience. George ran straight to the creature with two Egyptian swords. They were gold blades the were shaped like the top of question marks. George was slashing any where he could hit. George was crazy, he was dodging every attack against him. When a head snapped its mouth at him, George cut the head off. He continued to cut off as many of the things toes as he could. He was able to cut off three of them. Then the monster, hit George in the chest. He flew even farther than Nate did.
"What is this thing!" I yelled
"It is the first beast!" yelled the girl "Now, shut up and fight!" Just then it shot fire at us. We didn't have time to get out of the way, so I put my shield in front of us and we crouched. The flames went all around us. I could feel the heat all around us. The only place I didnt feel it is where I was holding the sheild. When the flames stopped we jumped away from each other. I ran to the right of the creature, while she ran away so she could shoot it from a safe distance. The monster turned toward me and shot its head forward to bite me.
My instincts then kicked in. I jumped as high as I could. I landed on its head. I swung my sword down and chopped its head off. Before the head fell I climbed up its neck. Another head tried to bite me. I jumped out of the way swinging my sword at the neck. I tried to cut off another but a head hit me from behind. As a result I fell off and it hurt. The monster was about to eat take a bite of me. Right before its mouth could get me, an aroow with a balled tip hit it right in the nose. The arrow started to blink red, the light kept flashing faster and faster, then it blew up. The explosion made the head look like a banana peel. Four heads left I thought to my self.
The first beast then swiped its paw at me. I raised my shield and I flew back. I couldn't feel the hit, so the shield must have magic in it or has really good shock absorbers in it. I flew back about 50yards and hit the car. The car thought to myself. I hoped in the car and luckily the keys were in the car. I started the engine and revved it. I needed to get the beast attention. When the dumb creature finally noticed me, I put the pedal to the medal. I wanted the monster to follow me. It would hopefully tire the creature out. I kept going in a giant circle, until the beast got tired and lay-ed down. Then, I drove the car as fast as it could go into the beast. I jumped out of the car right before the car collided with one of the heads. As I rolled out of the car, I saw the car hit a head. The car was now like a crushed can. The beast got up howling in pain for the first time. I am guessing the head is dead because it just hung there lifeless.
The next thing that happen was cool. The beast shot fire at me, luckly my shield blocked the flames when the flames stoped I noticed that the dead head had blown up. I think because the mouth was dead and closed the pressure bulit up and exploded. As a result it also killed the other head. When the last head went to kill me, I doged the head and stbbed it it in the forhead. I pulled the sword out and walked over to the girl acting really badass. When I got About ten feet from the monster, she raised her bow and shot at me.
The arrow flew right by my head. I turn around and I was the creature with its head right next to me. It had still been alive and it was going to eat me. Then I noticed the arrow in its mouth. She saved my life.
"Thanks. What is your name? Mine is Michael."
"Your welcome. My name is Artemis. Nice to meet you."
