After my little talk with Rick, I decided to go to bed early. I walked all the way to cabin one, which really wasn’t far away, but I was so tired that it felt like kilometers. I finally arrived and notice something that i didn’t see before. It was a barbed wired fence that split cabin six and seven apart. The fence was about twenty feet high. It was pretty big. On the fence was a sign which said Members of cabins 1-6, do not cross this fence. If you do you will be publicly humiliated. We will always beat you.Ha Ha Ha . Love cabins seven through 12.:p
How nice. I thought to myself. Oh well I am going to bed, I walked into cabin one. The place was so clean. I noticed that every bed had a name on it, I saw mine in the corner. Great, I am stuck in the corner, I thought. Then I noticed I was near the stairs. I wondered what up there so I walk to the stairs. Before I could get there a glass wall sot down from the ceiling with a sign that told me only girls could enter. Then I walked to my bed and went to bed.
The next morning I wake up hearing, “Prepare for the attack! We are at.....WAR”
I jump out of bed with my sword and shield ready. I ran outside as fast as I could. The second I see people I notice they are all smiling. Then Artemis walks over to me.
“Hey you look ready for war. Oh btw war is a game where cabins 1-6 battle 7-12 with real weapons. Who ever wins doesn't have to have chores. But we , cabins 1-6 , never win. You need a helmet caca pants.” She then handed me a greek helmet with silver hairs on the top. “We are silver, the other guys are black. Ok follow me.”
We walk to an open field where our team was ready. Everyone looked pumped. Then we saw our trio of warriors. Nate,Sabin,and George. Sabin And Nate didn’t look like they were going to have fun, but George looked super happy. He kept playing with his swords and smiling it was kind of creepy. “Hey guys. Why didn’t you tell me you guys had angels for parents?”
“We couldn’t, your mom wouldn’t let us. And I know you are going to ask how long we have been here, so I will answer. I all come here when we are 11.” said Nate
“Ok, when does war start.” I asked I still haven’t told anyone about last night.”What if I get hurt too?”
“That is okay if you get hurt, we can patch you up, ,just don’t kill.” Just then a horn blew. “And the games start now.” said Sabin.
