Enjoy the chapter and thanks IckleBickle for helping me write this.
After a brutal walk and insects bites, we arrive at our destination. Are feet were blistered and our shoes had melted on the asphalt. We arrive back at the bland, oak ,dirty ,ugly sign. This time no one was there to greet us.
"Welcome to the camp." said Artemis, "Only those with the blood of their father may enter."
"Thanks, not like I haven"t been here before." George
"Oh, shut the front door." said sassy Sabin
Artemis sighs and says "You Dumb butts, shut up. I was talking to the newbie, Michael. Lets go in."
As we walk in a I am flabbergasted. "This looks so much like Camp Half-Blood" I said
"Where do you think Rick Riordan came up with the idea?" Said Artemis.
"Oh." I said
If you don't know what Camp Half-Blood, is it is from an amazing, out of this world, probably made by a god, amazing, awesome book called PERCY JACKSON. The first thing I notice are 12 large, probably 2 story, cabins. Each one is the same white with giant pillars connecting to the roof all around. To my left is a big old cabin. It had a green door, the paint was peeling off of it. It was an ugly brown color, the roof looked like it was ready to fall in. Above the door is the only nice thing on the house it said The Best House someone her has a sence of humor. To my right there was all kinds of stuff. First there was a giant rock wall with water poring out of the top.
"Shouldn't that be a lava rock wall?" I asked
"No lava would kill us. Are you crazy?" said Nate.
"Oh." I said. I kept looking and saw a little training center. There wear two people training, they were both wearing a plain silver colored shirt. One of them had a claymore sword.(that means a big two handed sword). The other had a katana.(that is a curved Japanese sword.) They were both training hard. Anyways there was also an archery range. The archery range was deserted. In fact the whole camp was deserted except two people.
"Where is everyone?" I asked
"It is dinner probably at the cafeteria." said Sabin Then we walked on a dirt road for a minute. That is when I saw the gold building. It was a cafeteria but gold color. That's it. That is all I can say about outside. We walk towards the doors. There was a sign that said push. So that is what I did. It is actually hard to open. I kept pushing until I was tired. The guys were laughing like crazy at me.Then Artemis walks to the door and pulled. It open. I then got red in the cheeks and said nothing.
When we walked in there was one large table. Everyone was eating whatever food they said. It was cool. Every one was wearing silver shirts so we stood out. The inside had floating balls of light, illuminating the enter place. At the end there was a high table where a old man was sitting. He had silver hair that match his silver shirt that said Rick.....Camp Director. I am guessing he is the camp director.
"Lets eat." said George. That was the first time he talked in a while. We all sat down and saved whatever food and drink we wanted. I said " Fried chicken and a sprite." Then they appeared. It was awesome. The others ordered other foods that I don't want to say. All I will say is that it was weird. Once we were done we eating, the old man rick stood up and announced my arrival.
"Everyone, we have a new arrival. His name is Michael. He save our beloved Artemis from death, and conquered the First Beast." Every one clapped for me. How did he know that and my name? Is what I kept thinking.
"Mr.Michael who is your father?" said Rick.
"His name is" I didn't get any farther when a voice, loud and booming came out of no where.
"I am his father. I am Gabriel the ark angel." Then the voice was gone. After that there where many whispers about me and what the voice said. But I didn't care about any of that. All I Know is that my father is an angel and my life is getting really weird.
