I got out of bed and walked outside. I was expecting my cabins to be ready, but when I got out there no one was there. I looked across the fence separating cabins 6 and 7. The other cabins were almost ready. I ran inside my cabin and looked at an old grandfather clock. Ten minutes till the games start.
“Everyone wake up!” I screamed.
“What's up with the screaming” said some tired 13 year old
“We have War games.” I said
“What! We are still having it?”
“Yeah , now go get everyone up unless you want Britney to win.” I commanded.
“Got it” said the kid and he was already putting on his armor and ran to the other cabins. I look around and everyone was putting on armour. They heard me talking to the kid. The girls came down ready. Artemis walked in the front, she looked like she had just got out of bed.
“You look like you just got out of bed.” I said while putting on a breast plate armour.
“Yeah, I just did. Don’t forget your helmet.” she said, picking up my helmet and throwing it to me.
I caught it and said “Thanks. Lets go outside and see if that kid got everyone up yet.” We walked out and everyone was outside waiting. “That was quick.” I said to myself.
“Does everyone remember the plan?” said Artemis as loud as she could.
“Yes” the troops said as one.
Then a guy about six nine walked to me and said “How could we forget? That is the only way we could win every time.”
“True,but it will be harder this time.” I said to everyone not just that guy.
“How so?” the dude asked
“What is your name.”
“Alex.” he said
“Well, Alex, this time Brittany will have a plan and she remembers ours.” I said
“That makes sense.” Alex said and then he walked away.
“But who is in charge of the front lines now?” asked Nate walking tpo the front of the crowd.
“Sabin will. You will still be in charge of the second line, I will lead the elites, and Artemis with the archers.”
“Okay.” Nate said
“Thank you, I will try to do as good as George.” said Sabin walking to me.
“I hope so. Hey we are changing the plan for Nate’s squad though” I said
“How so?” said Nate and Sabin at the same time.
“Everyone listen up!” I yelled. Then the troops stopped talking and they looked about me. “The second line will now be carrying extra electric spears. If arrows are sent at us the front line will put their shields over themselves and the people behind them. When they do that they will be exposed, so the second line will have spears ready to attack anyone who gets close.” I said
“So the second line is the front lines defence?” said a voice from the crowd.
“Yeah” I answered “You can get the spears at the shed right now if you are in the second line. A group moved to a huge shed where the weapons are kept. When they came back with the spears, we walked to the field. Today it was starting to get foggy. We couldn’t see our enemy but we would be able to see them from close up.
“Battle positions!” I yelled. I didn’t look back but I could tell they were hurrying, by the noise of their feet. I walked back after they stopped moving and joined my elites and Artemis. “Guy get ready. This time we might actually have to fight. Artemis when the horn blows, shoot them with everything you got.’ I said
