The ending to peace.

Chapter 8: War can be FUN

The second the horn sounded everyone charged forward. In the distance I could see the back haired warriors charging for us. George was leading with his two swords, with Nate and Sabin right behind him. Nate was carrying a bunch of spears on his back and one in his hand, Sabin was carrying an axe. Me and Artemis were walking forward, unlike the others, the reason was because we wanted to stay conscience as long as we could. Artemis was carrying her bow and her arrows, also she had two white bladed knives on her belt. She was wearing denim jeans and a silver shirt. I still don’t have a silver shirt.

Two seconds later the armies collide.  George was crazy, the second there was someone in front of him, he had the pommel of his sword in someones helmet, leaving a large dent. He was able to mow down a path the middle of the army, with Sabin and Nate right behind him, fighting off people to their side. That is when a girl and two buff guys beat them up till they were knocked out. Everywhere I looked there was someone fighting, then I realized Artemis was the only one with a bow and I was the only one with a shield. (By the way if you have realized it I have my stuff out.) Artemis was sniping as many people she could with arrows that tazed people till they were unconscious.  I kept to her side to stop anyone who got passed her volley of arrows. Once in awhile a guy with a sword would try to get us but I would hit them with my shield repeatedly until he was knocked out or was seeing stars.

When there was only Artemis and me left we, started to think we could win it. I looked around and saw the trio that beat our trio, they were the only ones left on their side. The two buff guys were carrying gladius swords. While the girl was carrying the same type of sword I was. Up close I could see how they look. The girl had dirty blonde hair, she was the same height as Artemis, she had flawless skin and dark green eyes like the color of a vine snake.  The two guys looked like twins, both had the same long brown hair that went to their eyebrows but didn’t block their line of sight. They had blue eyes and were taller than Nate and stronger than Nate.I call the one on the right thing 1 and the one on the left is thing 2. I am going to get beat up. I thought to myself. I didn’t have time to think about Artemis I had two people to deal with. The thing one brought his sword down at me, I deflected it with my shield. I jumped as high as I could and smashed the pommel of my sword into his face. He then rolled his eyes back word and then fell back word. He didn’t get up again. Thing two then tried to stab me but I dodged it. Thing two was going to be harder to beat, he was lighting fast with his swings and stabs. I kept blocking his hits with my shield, if it didn’t absorb the hits I would have lost. I waited till thing two got tired and then I kicked him in the groin. He bent over in pain, when his head was within reach, I hit him in the head and he did the same thing that thing one did. I did him a favor by knocking him out because now he won’t feel the pain of the groin hit. I turn to see Artemis fighting the other person. They were both having a hard time landing any hits.

At first I thought Artemis was using her fist to fight, then I saw a glimpse of a knife fly by the other girls tummy. I realized she was using knives and she was good. I have to end this because I am hungry I thought to myself, I still haven’t eaten yet. I then proceeded to run towards the girl and jumped and did that karate kid, ninja kick. I had one foot out while the other was close to me. My foot made contact with the girls helmet leaving a huge dent and knocking the girl to the floor.Then Artemis kicked the girl as hard as she could right in the jaw before the girl could say anything. We won. Then there was a giant flash of white light.
