A/N: I wrote the first 10 chapters when I was like 14 so expect it to be cringe at points. Everything after chapter 10 is written by a 20 year old! I decided not to give up on this story after many long years and it is finally ongoing! Enjoy!

(a). Extremely delicate and light in an unnatural, unordinary way.

There was a good reason as to why I moved to London. Sure it meant leaving half my family behind but I promised I would meet them as much as I could, especially in the holidays. I've always wanted to come here in all honesty, but I never thought I'd end up moving here. My beloved boyfriend, Chris, decided it would be the best option to develop his future; there was not much left to do in New York.
Moving from one big city to another big city may be tiring, but I was happy enough to at least move countries. Or an entire continent in this case: Europe was fascinating, but London was like a whole country on its own.
Not only did I move here for just my boyfriend though, actually we believed I could start my career here too. Chris decided that chasing my dreams of acting and performing on the big stage could happen right here in London.
He's so thoughtful.
My thoughts were immediately stopped as my best friend brought me back to reality.
"Alice." she hissed, I tried to dismiss her.. but apparently I actually needed to say words to get her away from me. "Alyson!" she pushed my head forward. I turned around and faced her, an angry frown apparent on my face as she laughed.
"Alice in Wonderland." she crossed her arms with a smug smirk playing on her face.
Meet my annoying-as-hell best friend, Ashley Woods. As stupid as she is I love her with all my heart, and have loved her almost my whole life. We met when I was just 6 years old, she was visiting my school and was originally from France but had been adopted into America just a few weeks after she was born.
Now at the age of 22 I've realised how she's never changed ever since we were only 6.
"Alice in Wonderland again?" she raised an eyebrow and slowly tilted her head to the left, allowing her soft, light brown hair to gracefully fall down her shoulder. I sighed.
"Sorry." I mumbled, the look of concern and worry on her face vanishing after I finally replied back to her.
"Well, we've got to go. Like.." she checked her watch and almost instantly grabbed my arm. "Now!"

Sitting in the second row I looked around and realised I was probably the only one around, apart from the University staff and a few students, including Ash. There was a group huddle on the stage, Ashley already fitted in her costume, which I must say looked great on her. Her hair was loosely tied and she wore a lightweight dress. She stood out from the other students, as she was the only one wearing black.
The boys wore tight white shirts to show off their toned bodies, though each of them looked comfortable. The other girls wore the same dress as Ash did, but obviously also white. Their hair tied in a tight looking bun. They all looked elegant, that was easily said.
Ashley looked up after the huddle was over, the other students wandering around the stage doing their own thing. She flashed a thumbs up at me and smiled adorably. I smiled back and stood up as she rushed over to me.
