I woke up with a startle, realising it was already Thursday. The past few days had passed fairly quickly, and I still had the "date" with Raven from a few days ago in my mind. There were only 2 days left until the server was going to meet up, and we made final decisions to go bowling and then hang around in the park. Marcus and Troy said they'd bring their bicycles, and Zen would bring a soccer ball, or 'football' so we could all play in the park.

My new friends really were like little kids, but they were fun and there wasn't a single boring moment with them.

Even the teams were already decided. It would be girls vs boys. Sam, Marcus, Zen and Troy on one team, and me, Raven, Rose, Emily and Ashley on the other.

I was excited for Saturday, and I couldn't wait to see everyone. I wished that the next few days would hurry up already.

"You're smiling too widely in the morning." I heard a male voice call out, I had expected Ashley to be in the room, but she wasn't here. I looked up at the male boy, and I didn't recognise who he was. But he was definitely handsome, he was tall with chocolate skin and black hair that swooped slightly to the right, his dark brown eyes were warm and comforting as he looked at me with a grin.

"Who are you?" I asked, pushing myself to the back of the bed and holding the duvet close to me, as if it would protect me from the random intruder.

"Oh, sorry, I'm Cole. I'm a friend of Ashley's. She told me... uhhh. Well, she said, "Cole please go over to my dorm and grab that asshat and tell her to come eat breakfast with us."' he smiled as I laughed at the cute way he said 'asshat' with his soft British accent.

"Alright I'm just gonna go take a quick shower and I'll join you guys in a few."

"I'll stay here since I don't want Ash to shout at me for not dragging you to the cafeteria." he smiled sweetly, I nodded and grabbed a grey hoodie and jeans.

After my quick shower I ruffled my hair with the towel, it dried quickly so I had brushed it down until the natural waves formed again. I glanced at the smiling boy, who was sitting on the edge of my bed and had immediately stuffed his phone in his pocket, standing up and also stuffing his hands into his pockets before nodding and leaving the room with me trailing behind slowly.

We had reached the cafeteria and I raised my eyebrow to see Ashley laughing with a bunch of people I had never seen before, which I guessed was the new students she had quickly befriended. She took a bite from her buttered toast before noticing me and signalling me to sit down, though my eyes were desperately searching for Miss Alluring.

I had finally sat down opposite Ash, the round table of all her friends surrounding me as she smiled and tried to get my attention, but my eyes were still searching for Raven. I was pulled into reality by Ashley laughing.

"Alice in Wonderland."

I turned my head forward, facing Ashley and pulling my hood over my head, pushing my dark hair to either side of my face.

"Sorry." I apologised quietly, though she didn't seem to care about my apology and instead had a small smile planted on her face.

"If you want to talk to Ray then you'd better run off to her." she laughed, and I raised an eyebrow, analysing Ashley's face and seeing that she really did want me to go and find Raven. I nodded and quickly pushed myself off of the table, navigating my way around some of Ash's friends and turning around to the normal window with the warm light reflecting off it and to the seat that Raven had usually sat in.
