"Naninigarilyo ka na naman Pierce" I breathed in before looking at him. Kanina pa siya ganito simula nong maabutan niya akong kausap yung isa sa mga kasama ko.

" Who the fuck was that guy huh. I was just fucking late for five fucking minutes. Tapos makikita kitang may kalandiang iba" Napapikit ako dahil sa kanyang sinabi.

" Hindi ako lumalandi, Pierce at itigil mo na iyang paninigarilyo mo" Suway ko sa kanga ngunit tila ba wala itong narinig. He threw his cigarette and pinned me on his car's shot gun seat.

" Nakakaselos Pia" He whispered. Tumingin ako ng diretso sa mga mata niya bago ako nagsalita.

" Ikaw lang Pierce. Pag-aawayan ba ulit natin ang bagay na ito." I told him. Huminga siya ng malalim bago siya tumingin sa dibdib ko.

Tumingin ako sa may bintana ng simulan niyang halikan ang aking dibdib. He is literally leaving me kissmarks all over my cleavage.

" It's only me, Pia. Just me" He whispered those words that shouted possessiveness.

Binansagan akong maldita, walang puso dahil sa mga kagagawan ko rin. I am heartless. I obey the rules of the university because I believe that rules will always be rules. And it takes someone to start following it.

Through the years, it has been known and given that the Zarates own the university. Masasabi kong ubod ng yaman ang mga Zarates. And because of Mrs. Sabina Zarate, naitayo ang isang organisasyon na para sa mga estudayanteng nangangailangan ng scholarship na ngayon ay pinamumunuhan ko. I am considered a leader of the university. I champion in the art of leadership even though I know I failed in the art of romance.

Busy and lahat ng estudyante dahil sa gaganapin na intramurals ng universidad kaya puspusan na rin ang pag-eensayo ng mga manlalaro ng unibersidad. Ako naman ay kasalukuyang nilalakad ang mga papeles na kakailanganin para sa intramurals na magsisimula na sa susunod na araw.

I looked at everywhere. The noise, the crowd. Everybody is busy I shall say.

Popularity is something most of everybody craves for. The more you are popular, the more you get to be given the chance to date the Jaguar's Captain, Pierce Santillan. Iyan kase ang kasalukuyang sitwasyon ng unibersidad.

That man is still the Pierce I've known. Siya parin ang pinakaguwapo sa paningin ko. His smiles are my trophies. His laughters are my strength to finish a hectic day. His eyes are my medals. But his smiles are no longer mine. His laughters are for somebody. And those eyes I cherish the most is no longer for me also. I was able to live for the past two years leaving behind the past.

Para sa kanya siguro, isa na lang akong tipikal na babae. I know he loves his girlfriend now. Masaya na siya sa buhay niya. And seeing him kiss his girlfriend on her forehead makes it all the difference.

Two years ago, I was once that woman. But we've both moved on I believe. The relationship we have ended two years ago. Tapos na kami. And I guess all we both have to do is to continue the life we both have now and be happy with the present. For whatever reasons I have, I still choose this.
