"I'm so exited!!" Shawn said with a huge smile on his face.
Here we are again, sitting in the waiting room. Today is the day we're going to find out the gender of the baby.
Back in the doctorsroom i lay down on the bed.
"Exited for today?" The doctor asks.
"Yes!! I think it's a boy" i say
"Nope, it's a girl..." Shawn said.
She smiled.
"Well we're about to find out! You guys wanna know?"
I look at Shawn and he has this big smile on his face.
"Yes, we wanna know"
"Okay then, first of all, the baby is healthy"
"Good!"
"And she enjoy's herself in your belly!"
"SHE?!" Shawn says.
"Congratulations, it's obviously a girl!" She said.
I smile and look at Shawn who is almost crying.
We're back in the car and i'm staring at the new ultrasound pictures.
"I can't believe we're going to have a little girl running around" Shawn says.
"I know, me neither... i'm so exited Shawn!"
Tonight we have a awardshow on the planning. My first award show ever.... i'm so nervous to walk down that red carpet.
Shawn's POV.
I couldn't be happier having a little girl around us in like 20 more weeks...
Once we got home we need to get ready for the Iheart Awards.
I take of my clothes and take a shower, do my hair and put on a suit for the red carpet.
I'm all ready and waiting for Mandy to come out.
"Give me one more sec okay?" She said from the bedroom.
I laughed.
"Shawn, i don't know if this is okay for a red carpet?" She said and walks in.
I feel my smile getting bigger by the second.
"Damn, my baby momma looks fine as hell!" That's the only thing that came out of my mouth.
She's wearing a tight black dress, her hair is curled and her make up is on point.
"Omg hunny.... you can see that you're belly is getting bigger by the day!" I say.
She turned to the mirror and smiles.
"Our little girl is growing so good!" She says.
I stand behind her, take my hands and put them on her belly.
"Did you feel that?" She asks me.
I smile and nodded.
"Yes, i felt that"
"Her first kick...." she said and her eyes got watery.
"No, no don't cry babe, we need to go!" I say and laughed.
"Oh hun, don't forget to take you're anxiety meds?" She says.
"I think i'm going to perform without them...." i say
"What? Really?"
"Yes, as long as i can see you two, my heart will be as calm as now." I say.
"I'm so proud of you Shawn.... i really am." She says and kisses me.
We are on the red carpet, so many people has questions for me...
"Shawn? How is it to become a dad in less than 20 weeks?"
"It's amazing! It really is!" I anwser.
"Are you going to marry Mandy?"
"One day i'll defenetly will, but not now, she just moved here and with the baby on the way there's a lot to do!"
We're inside and Camila walks up to us.
"Omg, Mandy you look gorgeous!!" She said and hugged her.
"Hey Mendes... how was tour?" She asked me.
"Amazing! It really was!"
She smiles and says goodbye.
I'm backstage, my heart is pounding... maybe i should take my meds.... "No Shawn, no.... you CAN do this...." i say to myself.
I take my mic and walk on stage when they announce me. I start to sing Lost In Japan, after i finished the song, i need to say something inportant.
"To sing the next song i need you're help and i'll tell you why. For the last year basically every single show that i've played, i've been taking medicine that's been slowing down my heart rate so i can be calm on stage & i want you know that today is my very first show without that medicine. Everything because of my beautiful girl and baby who will walk around this earth in less than 20 weeks.
I love you, Mandy, SING WITH ME!"
" help me, it's like the walls are caving in, sometimes i feel like giving up. But i just can't. It isn't in my blood" I sing.
Mandy's POV
Shawn's speach at the I Heart Awards made me so emotional.... How much he's dealing with his Anxiety, and he just kinda got over it.
After the show i ran up to him.
"You where crying?" Shawn asks.
"Yes.... hormones" i say.
"And i'm so so proud of you Shawn!" I say after that.
After a nice talk and meeting Shawn's friends, we're heading home.
"I had no idea being pregnant was so hard... i'm so tired!" I say with a laugh.
"You need to do everything for two hun..." Shawn said, and we went to bed.
