THIS CHAPTER IS RUSHED AND I APOLOGISE. JUST WANTEd to cut to the chase.

This wasn't like her.

When she asked me to call, I'd call, she'd answer on the second ring.

I have called about twelve times in the past hour. Where the hell are you? I thought to myself.

I became restless and overcome with impatience and curiosity. I snatched up Mum's keys and stormed out of the house, driving - speeding to Marisole's house. Her parents weren't home, their cars weren't in the front and they very seldom ever use the garage.

I had barely gotten the key out of the ignition by the time I was out of the car and banging on her door. After thirty seconds of no answer, I tested to see if the door was unlocked. To my surprise it was. Her parents are very overprotective. She locks doors all the time out of habit. She once locked me out of my own house when I had stepped outside for a moment. She closed the door and locked it because that's all she's ever known.

"Marisole!" I yelled just to get an echo in reply. I heard the sound of something falling upstairs. "Mari?" I vetured up the steps and into her room. She wasn't there. But her phone was sitting on her bed blinking with text messages from her mum.

This was so unlike her. She didn't seem any different at school. I began to panic, all the worst case scenarios coming to mind.

"Marisole!" I yelled again, not really expecting a response.

"God you are loud!"

I whirled around but didn't have a chance to react. My mouth was covered with cloth, an arm secured around my neck.

I tried to break out of the grip before Michael's toothy grin appeared at the doorway. "Did you honestly think I would let you walk away without even throwing a punch?" He chuckled.

He said something else, I think it was about Marisole, but everything faded to black before I could decipher what it was he had said.

What felt like hours later, I woke up to the sudden aching pain in my jaw. I tried to rub the probably bruised skin but my arm were restrained.

My vision was still blurry but I could hear everything a little too clearly.

"He's waking up," a voice announced.

"Finally!" another exclaimed. "That son of bitch has wasted two hours of my time. If I had known he'd be out this long, I would've used that time with his little bitch."

My head popped up at the mention of Marisole.

"Nice of you to join us, Malik," Michael taunted.

"Where is she?!" I shouted.

"I'm not sure I know what you mean," he faked innocence.

"You know damn well what I mean!" I snapped, jerking my hands in the cuffs that were attatched to the wall, causing Michael and his friends to jump. "Where is she?! What did you do to her?!"

"Don't worry," he laughed. "I didn't lay a finger on your precious little girlfriend."

"Where is she?" I repeated through gritted teeth.

He whistled loudly and just a second later, a door I hadn't realised was there opened. Isaac walked in along with Rahim, dragging Marisole behind them. She looked weak, like she had just woken up on a bed of rocks.

"You said you didn't touch her!" I shouted.

"Relax," Michael said amused. "I didn't touch her... But I can't say the same for Isaac or Rahim. I can't control their actions." I clenched my fists, knowing there was nothing I could do. He came closer to me and whispered in my ear, "You know how hard it is for Rahim to control himself around the opposite sex."
