My fingers ran against her arm as I measured out the pattern of her breathing. She was awake - that she didn't know I knew. She wasn't calm. Her breathing was too forced. I kissed her shoulder.

"What can I do to make this easier for you?" I begged.

She let out a deep sigh, turning over slowly. "Do you have a spare toothbrush handy?" she asked.

"I should," I nodded.

"An extra t-shirt?"

I nod once more.

"You've already made my life ten times easier," she forced a smile to her lips. She leaned up to kiss me then rolled out of the bed.

"The toothbrush should be in that side pocket of my-"

She was already digging through the bag and pulled out what she needed. She gave me a smirk then turned into the bathroom.

I let out the breath I had been holding, falling down onto the pillows. My legs were entangled in the messy sheets and instant guilt hit me when my mobile rang.

I knew it was Perrie. Besides the fact that she had her own ringtone, she had informed me that she would call at this time today.

What time is it? I thought. I shot up and grabbed the phone, looking at the time as I put the reciever to my ear.

10:42

"Hello?" the rasp in my voice croaked.

"Good morning," Perrie chirped.

I ran a hand through my messy hair, flash backs of Spencer tugging on it surfacing. I cleared my throat. "Why are you awake?"

"Studying," she groaned. "Why? Do you not want to talk to me?"

"Not really," I teased.

"What? Do you have another girl in your room?" she joked.

"Yeah," I continued. "She's a pretty fit bird."

Just then, Spencer opened the door, wrapped in a towel. "Hey, Zayn, do you-" she paused when she noticed me on the phone.

"Hopefully not too hot," Perrie laughed.

"I don't know," my mind wandered as Spencer stepped closer to the bed. "She's pretty high up there on my scale."

"Is she better than me?" Pez purred.

I bit my lip when Spencer leaned over to dig through my bag once more. "No one's better than you, Love," I mumbled.

"I bet whoever-she-is can't seduce you the way I can over the phone," Perrie whispered.

Spencer couldn't find what she was looking for. She picked up the bag and set it on the bed next to me. "Toothpaste," she mouthed.

"I don't think now is the time for that, babe. . ." I silently begged.

I stuffed my free hand into the bag and found the toothpaste immediately. I handed it to the silent, half naked girl.

"What's the matter?" she lowered her voice.

I grabbed onto Spencer's hand before she could walk away.

"Pez, I've really gotta go."

"Okay. . ." all seduction left her voice. "Call me soon, okay? I love you."

Spencer's eyes were wide and dewy. "Love you, too," I murmured before hanging up, all without breaking eye contact with Spencer.

"Zayn-"

I pulled her closer and her lips instantly found mine. She was irresistible. She made me weak. I didn't even try to not give in.

She lifted up slightly, parting our lips. "You're an asshole," she whispered. I reconnected our lips momentarily.
