Rey's Costume

So, this is Rey's outfit for Episode IX!
I wrote in an earlier prediction that she might wear black in Episode IX, like Luke and Anakin and be tempted to the Dark Side. But as you can see, she is a mirror opposite, wearing pure white.
This is more proof that she isn't a Skywalker. So far, she has not fallowed any of the patterns set by Anakin and Luke Skywalker.

But in terms of her character arc, I believe that she reached the point that Luke reached in the Return of the Jedi, in the Last Jedi. She was even wearing darker colors, including black at the end of the movie.
And she even had to face the choice between the Light Side and the Dark Side. And was able to resist the Dark Side.
This statement is highly arguable, but I believe that she had almost reached the point that Luke was at in the Return of the Jedi, in the Last Jedi. This means that in Episode IX she may be going a step above that.
This is one reason I love the Last Jedi so much, it is like a combination of my favorite of the prequels: The Revenge of the Sith and my favorite of the originals: The Return of the Jedi. But it also has some elements of its own that I think are actually better than the Revenue of the Sith and the Return of the Jedi. But I'm not here to discuss why I love the Last Jedi so much, (I will write a chapter about it in the future.) I am here to talk about Rey's outfit for Episode IX.
So, one of my predictions were wrong. Of course she will probably have more than one outfit in the movie. So, I could still be right. But after seeing this, I'm not really sure that I want to be right.

The first thing I noticed was that she has her hair up in the three buns that have almost become her trademark. I like her in this hair style, and I thought that they would bring it back.
I do want to say that I think she is the only girl in Star Wars who ever wears the same hairstyle more than once. I might be wrong, so let me know if I am.

The next thing that I noticed was her lightsaber. Which is blue. I know that some fans wanted her to have a green lightsaber in Episode IX, but personally I wanted her to have a blue one. This photo is so blurry that I can't tell if it is the Skywalker lightsaber reforged or a different one. But even if I could see it, I wouldn't be able to tell if it was the Skywalker lightsaber, because she couldn't have used the same crystal in a new hilt. And if it did look like the Skywalker lightsaber, that wouldn't necessarily mean that it is because she could have intentionally made her new lightsaber to look like it.
I hope that this is explained in Episode IX, and we're not just left to wonder for the rest of our lives.
Honestly, rather or not this is the Skywalker lightsaber, I want it to be repaired. That lightsaber is most important character in Star Wars.

Now, I want to talk about the outfit itself. I love her new outfit. It is actually a lot like the outfit I was planning for her in one of my Episode IX fanfics "In Darkness Bind Them." Which is a Star Wars/ Lord of the Rings crossover. I haven't got to finish the next chapter yet, so if you're reading that fan fiction, this is a minor spoiler: in one of the upcoming chapters I had planned for Rey to be wearing an outfit exactly like her Jakku outfit, only pure white. I had considered blue, but decided on white because of one of my favorite Arwen scenes:

But there are several differences between my plans for her outfit. I had planned for her to have her hair done like it was at the end of the Last Jedi. But it surprised me that they would actually give her a solid white outfit. I was not trying to predict that she would wear one, it was more for the purpose of her character in the plot.

Another feature that I noticed on her outfit was the leather armband on her upper arm. And the fact that the wraps around her arms only go to her elbows, instead of all the way to her upper arms.
I think that the leather armband looks really cool.
It is also placed over the scar she received at the end of the Last Jedi, in the throne room.
I also noticed (next to the red arrow) a second weapon, which be a blaster, or a second lightsaber. It could also be something else entirely.
