I was inspired to write this story by a scene from The Return Of The King Book by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Eowyn and Faramir confessed their love for each other while standing on a balcony. And even though there was a large crowd watching them, they kissed each other.
I thought that this would be very cute if Rey and Ben did this during a battle. It would take great courage, because they are supposed to be enemies. But it would also set a great example to the First Order and the Resistance of peace. It would also symbolize the balance in the Force they would create.
