Chapter 15. Part 2: The call.

"I don't know how much time Dad" replied Violetta.

German sighed.

"Vilu, it's 10 pm..you should go to your room and get some sleep. You have to go to the Studio tomorrow and I have to sort the house out"

Violetta nodded.

"Okay Dad, i'll make you a deal"

German looked confused.

"What do you mean Vilu? What deal?"

"A deal where you go to sleep and i'll go to sleep. I don't want you staying up all night. You need to get some rest. So promise me. You will?"

Violetta stared at him.

German sighed again.

"Okay Vilu, deal. I promise"

Violetta smiled.

"Good! I'll go now then Dad. Goodnight."

Violetta hugged German.

"Goodnight my darling. I love you"

"I love you too Dad".

Violetta left. German put his pj's on and climbed into the double bed. He kept to one side of it. Suddenly he imagined that Angie was laid their beside him. Tears began to trickle down his face.

At Angie's house:

The film had finished and Angie was asleep. Her head was laid across Pablo's lap. Pablo was still awake. He gently moved Angie so he could get up, he then picked Angie up and carried her upstairs. He gently placed Angie in her bed and tucked her in so she was all cozy and snug.  

"Goodnight Angie" he whispered into her ear.

He stood their smiling at her for a minute then went to the spare room, changed into his pj's and got into bed. He fell asleep almost instantly.

XXX 9 AM THE FOLLOWING MORNING XXX

Angie's house:

Angie's alarm went off. She woke up and stretched her arms.

She sniffed up and could smell something..she wasn't sure what. She got out of bed, stuck her robe on and went downstairs. Angie went straight into the kitchen and saw Pablo cooking breakfast. The radio was on, he was whistling along to the song playing.

Angie stood for a moment smiling then Pablo turned around.

"Ah! Good morning Angie, I'm cooking up and full English breakfast.There's toast, bacon, beans, sausage, tomatoe's  and an egg. Here you go". Pablo had a beaming smile.

He put the food on to two plates and put it on the dining table.

"Good morning to you too. A full English sounds great...why are you so happy this morning? replied Angie with a cheeky grin.

"Well Angie, i'm just a very happy person first thing on a morning that's all" Pablo still was smiling.

Pablo began to eat..just as Angie was about to take a bite out of her toast..her phone rang. It was German.

She declined it and proceeded on to eat her toast. Her phone rang again. Pablo just looked at her...Angie sighed. She declined it once again.

Instantly it rang again.

"Angie, just answer him. You can't avoid him any longer..besides he's only going to keep calling you if you don't answer"

"Fine Pablo, your right".

Angie sighed, grabbed her phone and went into the living room.

For a brief moment she just stared at her phone. When-ever she got a call of German. A picture of her & him always popped up.

She accepted the call...

"Hello" said Angie very quietly.

"Angie! Finally, you've accepted my call!" shouted German.

"German, what do you want?" questioned a distressed Angie.

"We need to talk and I mean face to face. I've sent you lots of texts, rang you many times too..even Violetta has. Please can we meet and talk?"

"I know, i've seen all the texts and I'll see Violetta later. I don't know if there's much more to say to each other now German" replied Angie sadly.

"Yes Angie! Yes their is! Please, I need to see you. I miss you. I love you!" shouted German.

"I don't know German. I miss you too but what good will it do with us meeting up with each other? Were no longer together"

"Look Angie, meet me in the park at 3 o clock later on today. If your unsure...just think about it. I'll be at the park at 3...what ever you decide"

"Okay German Bye."

"Bye Angie".

German hung up the phone first.

Angie walked back into the kitchen and sat down.

Pablo and Angie sat in silence for a couple of minutes...

"So..." Pablo broke the silence..

"What?" asked Angie.

"What did German want? It's obvious it's upset you. Your very quiet"

"He wants me to meet him later on today Pablo..."

"Ah, I see...are you..?"

"I don't know...I really don't"

Angie got up and went upstairs.
