The Letter.

Jamie's P.O.V.

The next couple of days were torture but I am trying to keep going for the people I care about. Although I am no longer Ellie's parzian I am still being allowed to stay in the palace until I turn twenty-one. After that time I will be required to move away and start a new and completely different life elsewhere. The next day when I woke I was given a letter from one of the maids and I was curious to see what was inside. But nothing could prepare me for what I read inside.

That night at dinner I was sat at my place at the table next to Ellie when I started sniffing. That had been happening a lot recently and the people around me knew to ask once and if I didn't respond to drop the subject. I had been slightly mentally unstable at times since Lottie left but I couldn't let that stop my relationships.

"What's wrong Jamie?" said the queen trying to sound worried but failing.

"Its Lottie,"I replied. The entire table turned to look at me when I said those words,"She sent me a letter and its heart breaking. Look read it." I passed the letter to Ellie who read it with tears and an open mouth before saying

"She's saying goodbye because she thinks she will never see us again." After everyone had read the letter the atmosphere had become a lot more subbed as everyone hated to think that lottie was losing her life for them. However, I had taken the letter to heart and began training again hoping it would put me in a better mindset for life. And it did. I didn't cry as much and I felt a lot more healthy but I still couldn't get Lottie out of my head. She was wrong, I would never forget her.
