Just to say I am not a writer and I go to school full time so updates may be slow. Also this story may use some bits of the actual book and some will be changed completely.Thank you

As Jamie lay in his bed that night he thought to himself,

'I lied. I lied to Lottie.'

Lottie. The girl he cared about more than he knew he should. The girl he knew he could never be with because of their roles. Stupid parzian. It was cruel, no one should have their life decided for them the minute they're born. It's not fair.

He had told Lottie he didn't remember because it would spare his embarrassment, dignity and quite frankly, his sanity. He couldn't imagine having a conversation about the events that night with the girls-it would be so awful-he could already see it. Ellie laughing at him, Lottie looking sympathetic and as though she might cry and his brain just shutting down. He was surprised his brain was still working now considering all he had been through, all the pain and bottled up emotions, it was a mystery he hadn't gone insane already.

As Lottie lay in bed she thought over the nights events.

She didn't know whether to believe Jamie about not remembering anything or not but she hoped he was telling the truth because she knew that if Jamie truly did remember he would never forgive himself for being a teenager. She loved Jamie with all her heart and she hated seeing him scared or upset but sometimes she just wished that he could be a normal teen, for once in his life he would confide in someone, have a secret crush (A.N.if only she knew...) ,crack a joke or quite simply smile. If he gave a true smile Lottie would finally feel like she and Ellie had got through to him-but she didn't think she would live to see that day.

'Jamie please' she thought to herself "be a teenager, for me.'
