Lottie's P.O.V.

That may have actually been the most awkward and embarrassing moment in my entire life! I can't believe Ellie would do that, wait let me rephrase that, I can't believe that Ellie would think that that is acceptable to do at a ball. I mean come on! After we got up I saw Jamie leave the ballroom and I suddenly wished that I could go as well but I was immediately swarmed by many people asking questions-

'are you ok princess?'

'are you hurt princess?'

'do you need anything princess?'

'did you just kiss your parzian princess?'

'are you in love with him princess?'

Argh I'm so tired of everyone having to know everything about me and my life including who I love and why. Its just not fair. I know how Ellie feels now, sometimes I wish I didn't have to do this but this is for Ellie not me and I can't be selfish.

After everyone had exhausted the questions I managed to get away to see Ellie and I was furious

"Ellie, how could you? Its not just me you embarrassed you embarrassed Jamie and your parents as well. Why did you do that?"

"So everyone would know that the princess of Maradova isn't afraid to challenge tradition.It's quite simple really."she said shrugging her shoulders.

"Wait what, how on earth does kissing Jamie challenge tradition?"Ellie looked at me quizzically 

"Don't you see Lottie, that you are pushing the boundaries of who royalty can can't be with. For so long parzians were confined to only marrying others like them but now thanks to people like you, Jamie, Anastasia and Saskia it is being rethought out. No one should be confined to specific  people when it comes to love."

I looked at Ellie thoughtfully thinking about what this could mean for her. I know that she's gay so things like suitors must so hard for Ellie as her father would never give her a girl as a suitor. Its not fair but then the life of royals isn't fair and neither is the life of the staff that work for them.

"Look Ellie I'm just going to go outside for a bit to collect my thoughts so I'll see you in a bit yeah."

"Ok Lottie just do whatever you need to relax." and with that she turned and walked off down the hallway. Meanwhile I went into the gardens to try and make sense of everything that has happened tonight. It might take a while. All of a sudden I felt a rough hand clamp around my mouth and drag me backwards into a black van. I was shoved harshly into the boot and strapped in place. And no matter how hard I tried all I could think about was that I would possibly never see Jamie or Ellie ever again...
