Sans' POV:

*Several months ago...

if my brother wants to serve the monsters with spaghetti, he'll need to improve.

i was going around the garbage dump looking for stuff.

there, i see a book on how to cook spaghetti (the proper way).

papyrus would want this.

i take a shortcut back to new home, where papyrus is.

"OH, BROTHER!" papyrus spots me. "FOUND ANYTHING INTERESTING?"

"heh," i say, "hey paps, i think you'd want this." i hand him the book.

"OH, BROTHER!" his eyes light up. "THIS IS GREAT! I ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!"

"heh." i chuckle. "it's nothing."

"AWW BROTHER DON'T BE LIKE THAT! I LOVE IT!" my brother smiles. "SANS, DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS DAY, OK?"

"ok." i say to him, "i promise i'll never abandon you and i'd do anything for you. i will never leave you."

my brother smiles. "I PROMISE I WILL LOVE YOU AND NEVER HURT YOU, BROTHER. I'LL ALWAYS BE YOUR BROTHER!" my brother grins. "NOW, TIME TO MAKE SPAGHETTI!!"

*Present day...

Papyrus' POV:

SANS HASN'T RETURNED SINCE I KILLED THAT HUMAN AND THREATENED TO KILL HIM.

I STILL REMEMBER THAT DAY, WHERE WE BOTH PROMISED TO ALWAYS LOVE EACH OTHER AND NEVER LEAVE EACH OTHER.

I GUESS WE BROKE BOTH OF OUR PROMISES.

MY TEARS START TO FALL DOWN FROM MY EYE SOCKETS.

MAYBE WE JUST GREW UP AND REALIZED THOSE PROMISES ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP.

I NEED TO SLEEP.

Sans' POV:

i'm in new home.

watching over my brother.

he just went to bed.

flowey went around the underground trying to find me.

little did he know i would end up here.

i go into papyrus' room and see him sleeping.

i walk over next to him.

and hold his hand.

brother... i'm not good at keeping promises. but i want you to know...

i love you no matter what and will watch over you and protect you.

Frisk's POV:

"Kathy!!" I yell. "Kathy where are you?!"

Last night I discovered that my parents were dead.

Ever since then I couldn't find Katherine.

I was running around Waterfall trying to find her.

I stop short.

My eyes widened.

I found her.

Blood all over the place.

"Kathy... Kathy!!" I cried, running towards her.

I hug her body tightly.

I lost her. My best friend and stepsister.

THE DAY HAS COME. IT IS TIME TO BREAK THE BARRIER.

I BROUGHT THE SEVEN HUMAN SOULS AND WENT TO THE BARRIER ALONG WITH FLOWEY.

THOUGH, I'M QUITE AFRAID.

"FLOWEY," I ASK, "WOULD YOU DO ME A FAVOR?"

"Yes, my king. What is it?" FLOWEY RESPONDED.

I SAY "WOULD YOU ABSORB THE SOULS, AND BREAK THE BARRIER FOR ME?"

HE SAYS, "Yes, I would do that, your Highness."

HE ABSORBS THE SEVEN SOULS.

THEN EVERYTHING WENT WHITE.

SOON, WE SEE THAT THE BARRIER HAS BROKEN.

"WE DID IT. WE DID IT!!" I CHEER.

THEN I SEE FLOWEY WHO LOOKS... TIRED.

"FLOWEY?" I ASK. "ARE YOU OKAY?"

"I..." FLOWEY SAYS. "I don't feel so good. Papyrus. Go on without me."

"FLOWEY...?" I SHIVER.

"I... I have to go." HE DISAPPEARS TO THE GROUND.

"FLOWEY?! WHERE DID YOU GO?!" I YELL.
