Sans' POV:
"SANS?! SANS! YOU'RE HAVING A NIGHTMARE! WAKE UP!"
i open my eyes and see papyrus.
what just happened? why am i here, in my old house?
why am i alive...?
"BROTHER, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" papyrus asked worriedly.
could it be... the whole thing... with the human... all a dream?
"yeah, i'm fine bro." i answer. then my eyes start to get filled with tears. "bro?"
"YES...?" my brother asks.
i start to cry. i hug him. "i love you."
a few seconds later, he hugs back. "I LOVE YOU TOO, SANS."
later, we let go of each other and he asks me "SANS, WHAT HAPPENED? IN THE DREAM, I MEAN. YOU WERE TURNING AND TOSSING ALL NIGHT."
i look away. "i, um... i don't wanna talk about it."
"ALRIGHT." my brother smiles sadly. "WHATEVER SUITS YOU BROTHER."
i get up from bed. "well, we gotta go look for humans, bro."
papyrus looks confused. "YOU'RE ACTUALLY INSISTING ON GOING TO LOOK FOR HUMANS? USUALLY YOU'RE LIKE, 'no bro i'm too lazy' OR STUFF LIKE THAT."
i nod. "yeah, um... i just decided to... uhh... not be lazy just for a change."
my brother looked surprised. "UHH, ALRIGHT. IF YOU SAY SO, SANS. COME ON, LET'S EAT SOME BREAKFAST."

i stand behind a tree, waiting for a human to come.
i was nearby the giant door where i usually practice knock-knock jokes.
suddenly the door opened.
out comes a human.
a human wearing a striped shirt.
my eyes widen.
it's the same one from my dream.
soon, i walk to them, gave them the whoopee cushion in the hand trick, etc, etc.
but this time, they weren't killing everyone.
they were sparing everyone.
unlike in the dream.
...
everything worked out fine.
the barrier's broken.
all of monsterkind is finally free.
paps and i now live in a new house in the surface.
"hey paps," i say. "imma go out for a while, 'kay?"
"ALRIGHT, BROTHER." my brother replies, as i open the door and walk outside.
when i turn to a corner, i bump onto someone.
"oof!" i say as i bump into them and fall on the ground.
"Ow!" they say. they have a female voice, that sounded very familiar.
i open my eyes and see her.
it's a little human girl.
