Liam sat in his room, pondering how he should go about engaging his revenge. He could hear Rustin shouting about having lost his phone, but even if Rustin did have it, it wouldn't matter. This little brother had gone and locked each individual app with its own passcode. Basically parental locking everything.
He was excited!
But terrified.
Despite the cocktail of feelings he was experiencing, he tucked his big brothers phone, with a very cracked screen, into his pocket. Shuffling out of his room and down the stairs, to where Mason had finally finished up with his assignment.
"What's for lunch?" Mason yawned, stretching his shoulder as he stood up from his seat at the table.
"Chicken stir fry," Alex states, bustling about the kitchen. Only able to use one hand, his other arm holding his daughter. Who had very.. firmly, refused a nap.
"I don't like stir fryyyy" She whined, tired from having been crying.
"Yes you do," Alex chuckles, looking up to see Liam entering the room. "Hey bud, lunch is going to be ready in a minute ok? Wash your hands please,"
Liam nods, and hurries over to the sink to wash his hands.
"Where the fuck is my phone?!" Rustin grumbles, walking through to the living room, figuring maybe the precious device had fallen between the couch cushions.
"Language!" Alex frowns "I hear you swearing like that again and you won't have that phone all week."
Mason snickers and begins to set the table, enjoying the sounds of his little brothers annoyed mumbles.
"I'm not hungry" Brianna whines as her father sits her in her chair.
After the mud incident, she was now dressed in peach colored leggings, and a gray t shirt with a llama on it.
"Yes you are," Alex smiles, helping Liam to reach the paper towel to dry his hands. "Rustin quit tearing up the couch and come sit down." Alex shouts a bit.
Mason and Liam were already seated by the time their brother came to the table and sat, looking irritated. It made Liam a bit nervous, but he was confident. He had decided to wait until after lunch to try his revenge, since his father would surely be trying to get his little sister to take a nap for the second time today.
"I can't find it." Rustin muttered, while his dad fixed everyone's plates and fetched drinks.
"I bet it's in your room, since you haven't cleaned it in three months." Mason smirks, drinking a soda.
"It's not in there," Rustin frowns. All he wanted was his phone. Was that too much to ask??
"Calm down," Alex chuckles. "It's just a phone, I'm sure you'll find it after you sit for a minute yeah?" Finally sitting down, between Liam and Bri as he always did. He found it was much easier to prevent spills or arguments over who was flicking or poking at who.
Liam can't help but to smile. Even if he just kept his big brother's phone hidden, it would be fun to watch him get worked up about it.
"I finished up all my classes," Mason states, having begun to eat.
"Good! Then you're free for the rest of the day," Alex chuckles, looking to his daughter, who was not only refusing to eat, but had pushed her entire plate to the middle of the table.
Liam giggles at the display, always finding it amusing when his little sister would act up. He imagined it was the same feeling that Mason got when seeing Rustin dig himself into a hole.
