{Doris's Pov}

I choked on my milkshake as Zeus got down on his knees. Is he for real, I mean is he really gay for Asher, I wondered. Also knowing Asher was in love with Cason was kinda bothersome, I mean isn't he already taken or something but then again I think he should move on, Zeus does seem like a nice guy but then such a sudden proposal seems crazy.

"Will you do me the honour of accepting this small gift" I heard Zeus say as he opened the crystal shaped box. Where do these people get such trinket like boxes. I peeked from my seat to see the anticipating expression of Asher, he was nibbling on his bottom lip as usual and I knew it would bleed.

Taking my eyes of my bestfriend, I looked at the box and found a shiny key, Hmm this looks interesting, wait did he get Asher a home or something?

"Umm what is this?" Asher asked or rather squeaked in a soft voice. I mean man up bro, it's just a key, how hard could it get, it's not like Zeus has asked him to marry him cause if he did I'd definitely punch him. Being friends with a gay guy who apparently failed to get the guy he likes doesn't mean he's available for some rich ass guy to be hit on.

"A small gift from me and Leah, it's the key to you're bicycle which I got painted and had the locks changed." Zeus replied chuckling as Faith sprayed the water in her mouth in disbelief and Zeus almost got bathed. I chuckled at her frowning face.

"You know, the secret of you thinking that Asher and him are gonna date is out now." I chipped as she gave me a squint eye. Ivara's expression was back to its neutral form, I think she could get a reward or something to keep that impassive face in the most weird situations.

"Awwww that's so sweet" Asher gushed taking the key and thanking Zeus for his efforts.

"You know I actually thought the box would have a ring in it" Ivara muttered with a twang of disappointment in her voice. I raised a brow at her questioningly, when did she start shipping people?

"Well all of us know how this Cason stuff affected Asher, he doesn't seem happy nowadays. I mean he laughs and all but then I can see it's just a mask. I want to see him happy again and I thought Zeus might be the one who did that..."

"Oh..." I was rendered speechless by her speech, even I've noticed that Asher isn't the same since past months, he's become quieter and though this sounds really weird, as his bestfriend I've always seen a flame in his eyes but now when I look at them, they seem dull and bored.

"Sorry bruv but I wasn't proposing him" Zeus said as he sat next to Faith who was pouting in embarassment. Asher seemed to be thinking something so I nudged him. "What is it?"

"Nothing, I just feel embarassed about the whole situation, you saw how Faith squealed and all you know" he said shaking his head and I could see that his cheeks were redder than they already were from the cold. I laughed awkwardly finding his tomato face rather amusing while he covered his face with the two mufflers he got.

Oh right this idiot ruined my muffler.

"You said that out loud." Ivara said with an impassive face while Faith giggled as Asher gave me an sheepish look "You deserved it."

"How did I deserve it?"

"You planned to put that cake on my face behind my back, you know you're my bestfriend, you should have warned me." He said eyeing Zeus who just smirked at me. Clearly he ain't backing me up.
