{Asher's Pov}
"Okay, so you're sure that you won't need any more lessons?" I asked Faith as Ivara watched us with a bored expression while Zeus and Doris sat in Zeus's Mercedes in front of Faith's home.
We were going on a short trip to a lake over the hills as everyone had finished their competitive exams. I had conversed with Daniel earlier and found that Cason was doing pretty well. It had been almost two weeks after the incident. I hadn't contacted Cason though I barely had gone by without wanting to for a minute.
"C'mon Asher, show some faith in me," Faith mentioned with a pout on her face.
"Yeah right, to send him to the heavens," Ivara sneered as she looked at a glaring Faith. Faith had recently started learning to drive a car and Augustus's poor Range Rover that he had lent to her was waiting for us. Apparently I was the only person who showed enough trust on her to not kill me while she drove us there while Ivara and Doris had resorted to the safety of Zeus's car.
I'd told Zeus of the seemingly non existent encounter I had with Cason though I knew that he wasn't a fan of hearing it, who would be when the person you're crushing on is talking about their crush. He'd listened to me patiently thought, all the while chewing his lower lip. I was still a bit skeptical about dating him and had even asked him to not wait for me cause I honestly didn't like the idea of a person like him kept hanging but he said he'd try for me until the day I was dating someone, hopefully the someone being him.
Why are men so persuasive again?
I sat in the passenger seat and put on the safety belt around me. Gus had suggested me to actually wear a helmet too... That potato who bailed on the trip for an outing with his 'jock gang' of basketball players. Now I had to sit alone with Faith.
"Hey guys!!! I made it!!!" I heard Leah yell as she parked her Lotus. Leah had a party to attend regards a franchise launch of her friend and by the looks of it she'd directly come from the place. She was dressed in a elegant black onepiece with a bold neckline and a single golden rose embossed at her waist. She'd pulled her hair up in a 'messy bun which seems to look poignant' style and some gold clips to keep it in place. Naturally when you saw a girl wearing that, you wouldn't expect her to get off of a motorcycle of all rides but then again, this was Leah and one could very well leave it to her to suprise people.

"Hey!!" I greeted her from my seat while Ivara opened the door to Zeus's car and gave Leah a curt nod with a wave of her hand before slipping inside.
"Hey sis, you're gonna come with us wearing that?" Zeus called out to Leah who had parked her (motorbike) and came towards our car making a giant smile spread on my face.
