{Asher's Pov}

I breathed in the fresh air as we got down from the taxi. Doris followed me giving out a long sigh as Faith and Ivara got down from the other side.

I looked up at our place of stay for the visit, Hotel Hütteldorf, a cosy Germanic building that was close to Schonbrunn Palace and Lainzer Zoo.

It was early morning when we'd arrived at the Vienna International airport. It had taken us nearly half a day worth of journey to make it to this place. It had also been a very nice journey cause Caesar had attended us for almost all the time. While Faith and Ivara comprehended that Caesar had tried to croquet with me, Doris as much remained clueless. It had been nice to meet Caesar after so long, it could have been better if he hadn't developed a crush on his younger cousin which I think was entirely not pressing against Faith's better judgement.

Of course, Ceasar had been an utter gentleman most of the flight, ignoring the fact that he hadn't as much left my side and acted as if he was my private flight steward... I smiled as I remembered a lady taking objection as to why I was receiving special treatment.

I stretched my barely visible biceps and triceps as I took in the view of the garden that surrounded our lodging. It was simply beautiful with green creepers and violet blossoms dotting the foliage.

"Asher, take your bags," Doris mumbled as he took out my sling bag and my backpack from the trunk and handed them over to me

"Asher, take your bags," Doris mumbled as he took out my sling bag and my backpack from the trunk and handed them over to me. Once we all had taken our luggage successfully, Ivara lead the way inside.

"A booking on the name of Cromwell and Wentworth?"

"Yes ma'am, two rooms with twin beds..." The receptionist replied in a thick German accent while looking at the screen of the computer in front of her through her thick eyelashes that seemed to be highlighted with some kohl.

While Ivara got the keys, I couldn't help but look anywhere and everywhere as Doris and Faith argued over who'd get to choose a room first. I looked at the lounge where a couple of girls, not older than seven played some barbie game and my lips stretched into a smile as I watched them carelessly enjoy their childhood. I still remembered how sceptical my parents were when I had asked for a Barbie when I was younger, though eventually, they'd got me one. That had been long back, I barely remember having a Barbie after my second grade.

I shook my head to get out of the memory lane, a part of my mind that had never had any complications to worry about except the part of having food. I had always been a troubling kid when it came to food and I still am in a way.
