Ok, here's a slightly early update for you lovely people, I thought you could read it on the Valentine's Day at whatever time you found it convenient.

{Asher's Pov}

I felt really thirsty, the last glass of water I had was before Faith got me dressed for the party. I was a bit better by then but after the incident with that rotten eeghead, okay seriously I need to learn curse words, I mean I know them but I refuse to use them, I wish I was like Cason, he used them all the time to let out his disapproval or anger about someone. Though around me, he usually kept the cussing at a minimum. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, like I could take it as he cares enough about me to keep a control on his tongue or it could mean that he's uncomfortable around me to be himself.

Ok I just rambled, sorry. So I was saying that after Doris punched the delinquent, I felt grateful and safe but I couldn't remain in the claustrophobic space anymore, so I darted out of the house as fast as I could and put my head in my lap to try and calm myself on the sidewall of the unknown house. I had been like that for a minute before two strong hands took a firm grip on me, not in the horrendous way that perv had, but in a way I knew that I could trust the person. When I looked up to see who it was, I was surprised to see a worried Cason, his lips were parted and his chocolate brown eyes looked disturbed. Out of instinct I had hugged him and maybe seeing my distraught condition, he hugged me right back. His hands were caressing my back in soothing gestures and he mumbled comforting words.

It was one of the best feelings I've ever had, I felt so safe and protected, only if he returned my feelings, it would have been the best time of my life.

After that Ivara, Faith and Doris had come out of the house, their voice broke my seemingly content bubble of happiness, there was a strange emotion in Cason's eyes but it was masked by the shadow on his face. After that I had introduced Cas to the trio and the girls, remembering my last encounter from the weekend, almost looked like they were gonna punch him. Thankfully I told them about how he had comforted me and hence calmed them down.

Right now, we were at an Japanese restaurant where Cason offered to give me a treat. He'd offered to drop me to my home on his Harvey and before I could protest the glare in Faith's eyes had signalled me to go with him. I shook my head remembering the suggestive smirk Ivara gave me, it really amused me how she could change her seemingly blank expressions in mere seconds and be so secretive about it so that only the person she meant it to got the hint.

This dummy though wouldn't wear the helmet, I didn't even know I was pouting most of the ride cause Cas wouldn't wear the helmet. I knew I was blushing furiously cause of the close proximity to Cason but I had to remind myself that he was just a friend. He didn't like me that way and he was already taken. After we took a seat, the kind waitress had offered us water and I was emptying it down too fast when I heard her say "What would you like for you and you're boyfriend?" I almost spit the water in my mouth and started coughing vigorously as Cas looked at me worriedly, patting on my back to soothe me.
