I forced myself back out of the room despite what happened last time. Mainly because sitting there in the silence lets the shadows creep up and I couldn't stand the voices. All telling me it was my fault... They hate me... That he... he hates me. I know he said he didn't. He said he loved me. But my mind just won't let me believe that. Every time I start to feel even a little bit happy it throws something at me like how he could be lying. Or how he may love me now but he won't if he ever found out. He said I wasn't a monster...

He really has no idea.

I cringed feeling the wind flare up causing Virgil to lose his balance and fall. I started to get up to help him when my anxiety picked up. He wouldn't want my help. I was the reason he fell anyway. He'll just yell at me. I should just stay where I am. I slowly sat back down ignoring the pained look in Virgil's eyes and sighed. I watched as he got back up with Cassidy's help. They were doing some practices or whatever. I guess they would help their Virgil a lot when he was upset. I don't know... All I ever did was melt into Virgil's music. Something I really wish I could do right now.

Every time I heard his sword clash with Cassidy's I flinched. It was loud and sudden. But It was familiar. I should have relished in the known but instead, I couldn't help but slink away from it. I don't know... Why did I come out again? Maybe I should...

"Roman!" I reacted before I even looked up to see what was happening. Virgil just stared in shock as I slowly let my hand drop still holding the rock I had somehow managed to catch. I felt the rock pulse slightly as the earth itself called to me and dropped it real quick. You stupid moron. You could have just... God. You don't need another episode right now. What if Virgil finally starts to catch on? Just keep calm and your magic won't... My eyes went wide as I looked to see a sword positioned at my chest. Cassidy tensed up as I slowly looked up to meet Virgil's angry gaze. "Virgil... What the hell are you..."

"Can it, Cassidy. I know what I'm doing." He pressed the tip blade closer and I could feel my body start to shake in fear. He was going to hurt me. He was that angry. What did I do this time? I can't... "Get up, Roman."

"N-No... I th-think I'm gonna..."

"GET. UP!" I took a shakey and shallow breath as I slowly got off the ground and Virgil just watched with a stern look in his eyes. "Caz... Your sword." My eyes went wide as Cassidy hesitantly handed his sword over to Virgil, who in turn handed it to me. I started to shake my head and Virgil narrowed his eyes. "Take it. You're gonna need it."

"No." I said firmly this time and he just scoffed. "Virgil I am not..." I jumped out of the way just as his sword sliced through the air threating to take my head off, and landed on my ass. "VIRGIL!" He made no reaction. He just threw the extra sword at my feet with a blank expression. "I don't want... I can't fight you."

"Then this will be over fast." Fear slammed into me as he put himself into a battle stance and I quickly scrambled to my feet. My hands gripped the hilt tightly as Virgil narrowed his eyes. I could feel my knees shaking and he just rolled his eyes.

"Virgil, I think you should..." Virgil lashed out cutting Cassidy off and I stumbled back causing him to just barely miss me. "Virgil, you could really hurt him."

"No..." He struck out again this time catching my blade and causing me to trip before cutting my arm and causing me to cry out. "I could kill him."

"THAT'S WORSE!" Cassidy yelled out as I struggled to get back to my feet trying really hard just to avoid him. I can't do this. I'm going to fail. I'm going to fuck up someway somehow and he's going to kill me. Why is Virgil doing this? He really does hate me. He was lying. Someone...

"TUNE THEM OUT!" Virgil screamed as he lashed out again. I just managed to parry enough to stumble away from him trying to catch my breath. He stood there gripping his sword tightly as he growled. Hearing him growl brought up so much... It honestly scared me more than the fact that HE'S TRYING TO KILL ME! He's finally given up. He sees the monster I am and he's chosen to end it. He's chosen to end this life. I failed. I fail... I quickly blocked just in time to catch him as he stared at me with this anger, our sword struggling to overpower the other. "Don't... listen." I narrowed my eyes and he pushed harder causing me to lose my sword. I felt his foot connect to my side and I cried out just barely staying on my feet. "YOU'RE DISTRACTED!"

"What do you expect? You're trying to kill me!" He narrowed his eyes as he lashed out with his sword again. I took off running managing to pick mine up before he could hurt me and blocked him.

"Am I? I think I explicitly remember saying I could..." He kicked me again causing me to fall on my ass and I narrowed my eyes. "...not that I would." Before I could do anything he had the sword to my neck again. That's when I noticed his hands were shaking. I looked back up at him to see him start to cry and I tensed up. "Part of me hurts... th-that you actually thought I would do that to you. But I understand." He let the tip of the blade fall slightly as he looked down. "Stop listening to those voices..."

"Why?" He narrowed his eyes as I glared at him. "They're the only ones actually telling me shit. You were right, Virgil. We were never gonna..." He pushed the blade back up towards my throat and I froze, fear bubbling up in me as I felt the earth slowly start to soften under my touch.

"You of all people should know of Creativities impulsive decisions. Except you never once thought of that did you?" I frowned as he pulled his sword back. "No, you fell into that dark pit and listened to every word you heard."

"And how many times did you fall into it..." I clammed up seeing the anger in his eyes as he stood there clenching his fists.

"I never left it." He shook his head and went to attack again. I just narrowed my eyes rolling out of the way before his sword hit the ground. I jumped up onto my feet and held the sword loosely as I let it slice through to air, not even bothering to look at it. If there is one thing I know... It the feeling of a sword in my hands. I looked over to see Cassidy standing there confused as Virgil slowly spun around gripping his sword tightly.

"Both of you, knock it off!" I held my sword out ignoring Cassidy's cries and Virgil just smiled. "Roman..."

"Do you're job." Virgil's eyes narrowed as I felt the earth responding to my need. Cassidy just nodded as he stood back. "Let's go, Virgil."

"With pleasure."
