It's been... a week maybe. I never can tell honestly. It's even harder now that I'm Anxiety. One minute the suns high in the sky and everyone's singing and laughing. I hug myself and put my head down and then suddenly its night and everyone is sleeping.

Right now though it's been pretty busy. Ever since Virgil told them the whole story, everyone has been running around trying to find answers. They've all been lost in research that they're practically oblivious. Speaking of which...

Patton walked in eyes locked on the book he was reading and I frowned. I held the crystal tightly as I flicked my hand in the air and watched as ottoman moved just enough so that Patton didn't trip. Instead, he walked past it and sat on the chair still reading the book as if nothing happened. Of course, to him, nothing did happen.

I smiled slightly to myself as the air rushed through my hair. As scary as it it, Faylinn was right. I have to learn control. I can't ever hurt Virgil again. But, the only way to do that is to practice. So I do. As much as I can without getting caught anyway.

"Roman, do you mind turning this down? I am trying to concentrate." Patton glanced up over his book and I nodded slowly reaching out for the remote. Only to freeze as it slowly slid closer to me. The air moved around my fingers and the crystal began to hum. "Roman?"

"Yeah, on it." I grabbed the remote and turned the volume down on the tv, smiling as I hummed along with Mulan to reflections.

It's been hard. On both of us. Neither of us has ever had to deal with the effects being each other had before. So everything got to us very easily. I sighed as I pulled my knees in and just melted into the sounds around me. The crystal began to get even warmer and I closed my eyes taking a deep breath.

"Logan... Logan... LOGAN! I think I found it!" I narrowed my eyes as Virgil's voice began to reach my ears. Dragon senses... Doesn't matter. I tried to focus more as everything else melted away.

"Really? What did you find, Kiddo?"

"WITCHES!" I winced as my magic flared, anxiety building within me. "Magic, Logan. If we can get one to help maybe they can counter our curse."

"That's smart thinking, Kiddo. It's just... There aren't anymore. There are people with magic, you being one of them but..." WHAT... another flare up and I opened my eyes in shock at the sound of something crashing.

"Roman?" I looked over to see Patton holding part of a shattered mug in one hand and a coffee soaked book on another. "What just happened?"

"Uh... I don't... I..."

"GUYS GUYS I THINK I FOUND IT!" Virgil came running in only to stop seeing Patton all soaked. "What happened to you?"

"Uncertain, please continue." Patton sighed as he started to clean himself up and Virgil put this book on the coffee table in front of me. I frowned seeing what was on the cover.

"Witches." Virgil whispered dramatically and Patton narrowed his eyes. "Yes, I know. Logan already gave me the rundown but your wrong. There is still at least one left. The Dragon Witch." My blood instantly went cold and started to shake. I felt a pair of hands squeeze my shoulders tightly and I glanced up to see Logan smiling as he listened to what Virgil was saying. He knew. He knew what I was. The others didn't... I can't. "Relax, Roman." Virgil drew my attention back to him and shot me this, ironically, Disney-esk smile and I had to choke back a laugh. "I know of your history all to well but this time... I'll be able to protect you. Don't be afraid to lean on me, ok."

"My history with our Dragon Witch is a lot different than... than..." Than me here now. If I knew how to help you I would. In a heartbeat... no. I would help you even if my heart stopped beating. I just can't. Logan squeezed my shoulders again and I took a deep breath. "We don't know anything about this place or it's past. The last thing I want is you to get hurt."

"You don't understand. He seemed... different." Virgil looked down at the floor and I shook my head. "I don't know how to explain it. You always said ours was this hot headed demon bitch from hell but... Their dragon witch was scared." Of course I was scared. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON! I winced hearing the table move and I looked to see the book on the floor. Logan moved himself over picking up the book and handing it to Virgil as if nothing just happened. Virgil just stared at it confused and Patton was lost in thought. Probably trying to figure out why it keeps happening. I grabbed the crystal underneath my shirt and just stared at it. Faylinn said it was a seal of sorts. But what does it mean when your magic is stronger than the seal?

"I suggest a road trip." Patton called out once he managed to pull himself from his thoughts. "We should go to the enchanted forest. Find where the Witches housed and see if we could find any information."

"ROADTRIP!" Both Logan and Virgil yelled out and I just watched as they jumped around. It was odd seeing Virgil so... unanxious but I was happy too. He was happy. He was smiling. So I gripped the crystal tightly till my knuckles turned white and I smiled along.

"Adventure awaits." Virgil looked back at me smiling brightly and he nodded.

"Adventure awaits... Let's find a way home, Roman."
