Because of You (Daniel Seavey x reader)

Beach Days

I woke up the next day to the sun shining into my bedroom. I looked next to me and saw my phone still laying there on my pillow. I grabbed it and unlocked it, I saw a text from Daniel; "hey y/n, you fell asleep on FaceTime but text me when you are up, maybe we can hang out? Xo"

I smiled at Daniel's text before responding.

Y/n: hey Dani! I just saw your text and I am so down to hang out with you today.

Daniel: great!

Y/n: just you and me or?

Daniel: whatever you want, I mean the boys will be mad if its just the two of us.

Y/n: I'm fine either way:) What do you want to do when we meet?

Daniel: well I was thinking you could show me that amazing photography of yours

Y/n: haha very funny Daniel, but yeah sure

Daniel: yay! Meet you at Santa Monica beach around noon?

Y/n: sounds good! See you then Dani! x

Daniel: see you then! x

I got out of bed and made myself breakfast. After eating I took a shower and got ready to hang out with the boys. Then I packed all of my photography stuff in my bag and checked the time, 11:30. I decided to call and Uber and start heading down to Santa Monica beach. Once I arrived I stood at the pier waiting for the boys. As I am sitting there looking out at the water I start to hear rattling coming from the boards of the walkway. I look down before looking up and to the right and seeing five boys coming towards me on their skateboards. I see Daniel first, he waves at me and gives me a bright smile. Then he stops right in front of me, he jumps off the board and hugs me.

"Hey y/n." He said.

"Hey Dani." I said into his shoulder. I pulled away from his hug just to be pulled into another one, this time it was Jack.

"Hey y/n/n (your nickname)" Jack said.

"Hi Jack." I said smiling at him before pulling away from his hug and moving on to Jonah.

"Y/n." Jonah said before smiling and engulfing me in a hug.

"Jonah." I smiled back at him.

Then I moved to Corbyn.

"Hi Corbyn." I said.

"Hi y/n. How are you feeling today?" He asked, pulling me into a hug.

"Better actually." I said.

He smiled at me.

"Y/NNNNN!!!" Zach yelled, dragging out the end of my name.

I laughed, "ZACHHHHH."

He opened his arms up wide and I hugged him, he rocked me back and forth.

"I missed youuu." He said.

"Zach, it's been a day." I laughed.

"I know but still."

I shook my head at him and smiled.

"What's all that stuff?" Jack asked referring to my bags that had al of my photography supplies.

"Oh, thats my camera and other stuff I need for photography." I said.

"Wait, you are a photographer." Corbyn asked.

"Yep." I respond.

"Ooooo can you take pictures of us?" Zach asked.

"Thats why we are here doofus." I said.

"Wait, we are? Daniel you need to tell us these things." Zach said.

"Whoops." Daniel shrugged.

"Alright lets go find a place to take pictures." I said grabbing my bags and starting to walk down to the beach, the boys followed behind me. Jonah came up and took one of my bags.

"Thanks Jo." I said.

"No problem." He smiled at me.

We continued down the beach until I found the perfect spot for pictures.

"Stop! This spot is perfect." I said. "Who wants to go first?"

"Ooo me!" Zach said jumping up and down.

"Okay then." I said laughing.

First I took pictures of Zach, then Jack, then Corbyn, then Jonah. Now it was Daniel's turn.

As I was taking pictures of Daniel a couple girls walked up to us, they seemed nervous but they had big smiles on their faces.

"Hi, can we get a picture?" One of them asked.

I stopped taking pictures of Daniel and looked at the boys, they all looked at me and then each other. They turned to the girls.

"Of course!" Jonah said. The girls took pictures with each boy and I just stood there in astonishment.

"What the fuck is happening?" I thought to myself.

"Can we get a picture with all of you together?" One girl asked.

"Can you take it?" One of them asked, handing me her phone."

"Uh, yeah, yeah sure." I said coming out of my daze. I took her phone and took a couple pictures of the them. "Here." I said handing the girl her phone.

"Thanks." She said.

One of the girls turned to Jack, "Who is she?' She asked.

"Uh she's our.." He began to say as he turned to the other boys.

"New photographer!" Corbyn said.

"Oh ok." The girls said.

"Well thank you! Bye, we love you!" The girls said as they hugged the boys.

"Bye! We love you too!" The boys said as they waved goodbye. They turned back to me. I raised my eyebrows.

"Alright so someone want to explain what that was?" I ask.

"Uh, well ya know we..." They all started to say

"I guess they just liked us." Zach said.

"Then why did they act like they knew you?" I said crossing my arms. I wasn't mad I was just confused I mean c'mon what the hell was that?

"I don't know." Zach said.

"We are just really good looking and they wanted pictures with us." Jack said

"Full of yourself much Jack." I laughed.

"I'm just speaking the truth." He said putting his arms up in defense. 

"Oh yeah sureeee." I shook my head at them. "Lets just continue taking pictures."

The boys nodded and I went back to taking pictures of Daniel. As I continued taking pictures of him I noticed the smile on my face. The rest of the boys jumped into the picture and I just took pictures of them goofing around. We spent the rest fo the day at the beach, I got some good pictures of the boys when they weren't paying attention. Overall it was an amazing day but I'm still wondering about why those girls walked up to us, I have a feeling the boys didn't tell me the full story.
