Daniel: hey y/n!
Y/n: hi Dani
Daniel: are you free today?
Y/n: I am ... why
Daniel: I was thinking that maybe we could have that second date today
Y/n: ok! whats the plan?
Daniel: great! Nothing fancy, maybe just some ice-cream and the park ... is that ok?
Y/n: sounds good to me
Daniel: I'll pick you up at 3
Y/n: ok:) see you then
Daniel: see you
*end of texts*

I was really excited about my second date with Daniel. I'm glad he wasn't taking me to some fancy restaurant, I would rather just get some ice-cream and walk around the park together. It was currently 1:30pm so I decided that I would take a shower and start to get ready.

After I finished getting ready it was around 2:30, so I decided to just relax before Daniel came to pick me up. Eventually I heard my doorbell ring, I got up from my spot on my couch and put on some shoes before opening the door.
"Hey Dani." I said as I closed my front door and locked it.
"Hey y/n. How are you?" He asked me as we walked to his car.
"Good. You?" I asked smiling at him as he opened my car door for me. I got in and he closed the door before walking around the front of the car and getting in the drivers seat.
"I'm great." He answered.
Daniel drove to park listening to some of his and the boys songs. Once we arrived we walked to a small ice-cream shop and ordered. Daniel got vanilla and I got *ice cream flavor*. We started to make our way around the park while eating our ice cream. We decided to sit down and finish our ice creams so that we wouldn't make a mess so we found a bench to sit on. As we were starting to finish up our ice creams I looked up and I met eyes with someone. It took me a few seconds before I realized who it was.
Him.
It was him.
My breathe hitched. Me and the man just stared at each other, he was smirking at me. It sent chills down my spine but I couldn't look away.
"Y/n?" Daniel asked me.
I heard was he said but I couldn't respond, all of my energy focussed on that man.
"Y/n?" Daniel asked again. "Are you okay? What are you looking at?"
Then out of the corner of my eye I could see Daniel turn his head as well and follow my where my eyes were looking. When he realized what I was looking at he tensed up. Then he grabbed my hand and turned my head so that I was facing him.
"Lets get out of here." He said.
I nodded before grabbing my stuff and taking one last look at the man.
"Hey, don't worry about him okay? I'm here. Where do you want to go?" Daniel asked me as we started to walk around the park again.
I looked at him and shrugged, "anywhere far from him."
"Okay. How about the beach?" Daniel offered.
I smiled at him and nodded.
"Great." He said, smiling back at me. He took his hand in mine and squeezed it slightly, reassuring me that I was okay. We made our way down to the beach, we walked hand in hand the whole way. Once we found a spot to sit at, Daniel and I stopped. He looked around to make sure the man didn't follow us and when the coast was clear, Daniel turned back to me.
"How are you? Are you okay?" He asked, slightly worried.
"Actually I'm fine. You're here so I'm fine." I said.
Daniel squeezed my hands again before smiling at me. He sat down in the sand and I sat down next to him. We watched the ocean together, telling each other random stories. We stayed there until night fall, we didn't even realize how late it was until we looked around and saw that everyone had left.
"I guess we should get going." Daniel said, chuckling slightly.
"Yeah, I guess so." I responded, also laughing.
Daniel and I walked back to his car, it was kinda a far walk but I didn't mind. We were still holding hands.
Daniel drove me home and walked me up to my front door like always. We stopped and turned to each other.
"I'm sorry that the man ruined our date. I know how hard it's been because of him." Daniel said,  looking down at his feet for a second.
"Daniel, he didn't ruin our date. I still had an amazing time. Yeah, when I saw him I got a little freaked out but you were there for me, like always and we figured it out." I said.
Daniel looked back up at me and smiled, blushing slightly.
"I'll always be here." He said.
I smiled, "You're too much Seavey."
His smile got larger. "So does this mean that there is a chance that you would say yes to being my girlfriend?"
"Daniel, you could have asked yesterday and I would have said yes." I said.
"Really? Thank god, cuz I really like you and I don't know what I would have done if you said no." Daniel said, his cheeks redder than before.
"I really like you too, Seavey." I said, pushing his shoulder playfully.
"Wait just to confirm, you are my girlfriend?"
"Yes Daniel." I laughed.
He laughed too and smiled back at me.
"Goodnight Dani." I said hugging him and turning to walk inside of my house.
"Y/n, wait." Daniel said.
"Yeah?" I asked, turning around.
Daniel grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a kiss, I was surprised at first but soon began to move my lips in sync with his. We pulled away and smiled at each other.
"I couldn't leave without doing that." He said.
"Im glad you did. Goodnight Bub." I said, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before walking into my house.
"Goodnight." He said, then he walked down to his car. He waved to me before he drove away, I waved back at him. And then slumped down on my couch. I smiled at the thought of Daniel and our kiss, well our second kiss but it was even better than the first. I really do like him a lot. I sat on my couch just thinking before I was interrupted by a FaceTime call from Zach. I answered it to see him standing there, Jonah and Jack directly behind him. Daniel in the background slightly with a huge smile on his face and Corbyn no where to be found.
"Hi guys." I said.
"OH MY GOD Y/N YOU AND DANIEL ARE DATING! AS IN OFFICIAL!? AS IN MY SHIP HAS SAILED!" Zach yelled.
I laughed, "yeah, we are." I looked to Daniel in the background and smiled, he saw me and smiled back before mouthing 'sorry'. Referring to the fact that now all of the boys were freaking out.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TEXT US RIGHT AWAY THIS IS BREAKING NEWS, THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER." Zach continued to yell, way to excited.
"Woah, Zach calm down. I figured I would let Daniel tell you first, besides I knew this was coming." I said.
"This is so great. I'm happy for you guys, y/n." Jonah said, a lot calmer than Zach.
"Thanks Jo." I said.
"Congrats y/n, I'm happy the boy finally got the guts to ask you to be his girlfriend." Jack said.
I laughed.
"Dude!" I heard Daniel say I the background, obviously embarrassed by what Jack had said.
"OH MY GOD! IT ALL JUST HIT ME AGAIN, MY SHIP HAS SAILED." Zach yelled, handing the phone off to Jonah as he ran around the room.
"Someone really has to calm this kid down." Jonah said, laughing at Zach.
I laughed along.
"By the way, Corbyn is Milly rocking in the corner. Just to let you know." Jack said.
I laughed and tilted my head, "why?"
"Because and I quote, 'his ship has sailed'." Jack said.
"I thought it was Zach's ship?" I asked.
"IT IS MY SHIP! CORBYN STOP MILLY ROCKING!" Zach yell at Corbyn.
"DON'T EXPOSE ME!!!" Corbyn yelled.
"Damn, you guys are really excited about this." I said.
"Yeah, it's kinda problematic." Jonah said, turning to his friends who were all celebrating.
"Alright, well I'm gonna go." I said.
"Aweee noooo, y/nnnn." Zach said, running back into frame.
"I gotta get some sleep I have internship tomorrow." I said. "But maybe we can hang tomorrow, if you guys are free?"
"YES!" They all answered at the same time.
"I'll text you guys." I said.
"Okay, bye!" They said, waving to me.
"Bye guys." I said.
"Bye y/n." Daniel said, smiling at me as he came closer to the camera.
"Bye Dani." I said smiling back at him.
"Aweeee." The rest of the boys all said, looking between me and Daniel.
I shook my head and laughed before saying one final goodbye before hanging up.
I walked into my bedroom and got ready for bed before laying down and getting under the covers. I thought about the boys and Daniel, they have all become my best friends and now I'm dating Daniel. I couldn't be any happier.
