The Calm Before The Storm

Today was just a lazy day for me. I didn't have internship or any classes so I decided to just stay home and chill out. The boys were working in the studio today so we couldn't hang out but I think I need some alone time anyway.
Daniel has been talking about me meeting his family for a little while now. He really wants me to meet them. From what he told me, they seem really nice and I'm actually excited to meet them. But I'm also really nervous. What if they don't like me? I really like Daniel and I really want them to like me. Daniel told me he would set it up, maybe for this coming weekend. 
I decided to get out of bed and stop stressing over meeting Daniel's family. So I went into my living room and sat down on my couch and opened Netflix. I opened my favorite show (a/n: idk whatever show you like) and I started watching it.

I just finished my tenth episode and I checked the clock. It was only 8pm. Eh more Netflix.
"Are you still watching *tv show*" Was the message that popped up on my screen.
"Yes Netflix I'm still watching, stop judging me. Screw you." I said before continuing to watch my show.

After watching two more episodes, I decided that I should probably stop. It was 10 o'clock. I grabbed my phone off of my coffee table and texted the boys about hanging out tomorrow.

Y/n: usual hangout tomorrow at my place?
Zach: yessssss
Corbyn: hell yeah
Jack: you're interrupting Fortnite right now but obviously
Jonah: we'll bring snacks
Y/n: alright, sounds good see you then boys, goodnight
Zach: see you thennn
Daniel: goodnight baby
Corbyn: omg Daniel are you talking to me, wow I'm blushing goodnight to you too <3
Zach: ooo #dorbyn ^
Jonah: rip #donah
Daniel: omg guys seriously
Y/n: bahahahaha
Jack: sorry but #jachary is better
Zach: ^^^facts
Y/n: ^^^^big facts
Corbyn: y/n what?!
Y/n: I'm sorry but it's true
Zach: anther reason why I love y/n: she is woke
Jack: don't say 'woke' ever again
Y/n: lmaooo
Zach: :(
Y/n: I gtg goodnight boys
Daniel: night babe (corbyn don't even start again)

I laughed before closing my phone and plugging it in. I'm excited to hang out with Daniel and the boys tomorrow. I mean, we hang out a lot, especially recently, but we have become so close, so now it's natural for us to hangout a lot. It would be weird if we didn't. With that, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

If only I had known the events of tomorrow ahead of time. Maybe I could have done something that would change them or make them not happen at all. But there is no way of escaping tomorrow.
