I'm Happy, I Really Am (Poetry)

I'M HAPPY, I REALLY AM

I'm happy, I really am.

So don't believe me when I say,

I'm not.

You think I am loved?

You're right.

You think I'm miserable?

But that's definitely not true.

I have everything!

The best life ever,

The happiest family in the world,

The greatest friends of all,

I'm so happy!

I'm living this life and

I would be fooling myself if I say

I'm not contented with my life.

Only a life full of hardships

That, I don't have.

Happiness?

Joyfulness?

Gladness?

Love?

That's what reigns in my world!

Heartbreaks?

Sadness?

Loneliness?

Depression?

I haven't experienced it even in a split second.

Yes.

I said love don't exist in my world,

But I lied.

I'm full of love

I told you,

I'm really happy.
