Sorry, this chapter isn't the best.  We didn't put as much effort into it as usual. :/ I hope you guys still enjoy it!  Btw, on the side I have Drew again, or Logan Lerman....:D

Sophia:

Using all my strength, I yanked on the handle of the drawer.  It didn’t budge.  There was a small keyhole on the drawer.  I dug through my hair until I found a bobby pin, which I tried to twist into the right shape for the keyhole.  I stuck it inside and twisted, waiting for a click, a thump, any sign that I had made a difference.  Instead I heard a small snap and pulled out my bobby pin to see that it was snapped from the point of insertion.  I tossed my broken bobby pin aside and started to dig through my hair for a second one when I realized that I was just wasting bobby pins.  I would need to find the key itself.  I stood up and looked around the empty room.  Where would Jasper keep a key to a drawer?  I had a sudden inspiration and felt the top of the dresser, covering every inch.  I felt a small shape under my fingers and picked it up, feeling hopeful.  The spider started crawling up my arm.  I shrieked and shook my hand, trying to get the hideous creature away.  Then I realized how much noise I was making.  I held my breath.

The voices down the hallway paused, then I heard Drew saying, “She probably saw a bug, she gets creeped out easily.”

“Yeah...” I heard Jasper saying uneasily.  I started to panic.  Why did I have to scream?  The spider scurried under the bed and I quickly snuck out of the room and went down the hallway.

“Did you know there are spiders in your bathroom?” I asked Jasper, putting a disgusted expression on my face, which wasn’t very hard considering that I had just had an encounter with an actual spider.

“Yeah, they are all over the place, a little bonus that came with the apartment,” Jasper said, smiling a little.  I laughed, hoping it didn’t sound too fake.  Noor came into the room with the whole jar of nutella and a spoon, her mouth full of the sweet brown hazelnut spread.

“Want any?” she asked, waving the jar in my direction.  I shook my head, chuckling.

“Noor, hasn’t anyone taught you manners?  You don’t just barge into someone’s house and eat all their nutella,” I said, still laughing.

“Well, I guess we should be going now, right?” Drew said, looking at me with a question in his eyes.  I shook my head, looking down.  He looked disappointed.

“Yeah, just give me a minute,” Noor said, setting the jar of nutella down on the coffee table and licking the spoon clean before setting it down delicately beside the nutella.  “Okay!  Let’s go!”  She ran for the door.

“Thanks for putting up with her for a little bit,” Drew said, chuckling.

“No problem, she’s pretty interesting,” Jasper replied, chuckling as well.

“Well, bye!”  Drew ran out the door after Noor and I followed close behind.  Jasper’s voice stopped me.

“Sorry, but you wont be finding out anytime soon,” he said, a smile in his voice.  I turned to face him.

            “What?”

“Remember?  I know everything.  I knew what you were planning to do.  That locked drawer doesn’t even have anything you’re remotely interested in, just some money.  And I’m sorry, but I’m not gonna be telling you anytime soon.”
