Jess's POV
I woke up freezing, even though I was somehow wrapped in four blankets. I distinctly remembered falling asleep with just two. My head hurt from all of the crying, I think I cried myself to sleep, but I made sure Alex.... Alex...was he just a dream? Someone like that didn't really exist did they?
My heart raced as I peered over the bed to check if he was there. I felt a sigh of relief when I saw the seventeen year old boy laying on the floor with his gorgeous black hair a mess and...no blankets. I looked again at the four blankets I had. So that's were these other two came from, they're the two I have to Alex.
I got on the floor beside him, put the blankets over him, and smiled. He looked so peaceful sleeping. His was out of his face to reveal the parts of it he was hiding behind is hair before. I never notice how amazing he actually looked. I laid next to him and just...looked at him. How was it possible for anyone to look like that? He was just to beautiful to be real.
Out of no where Josh burst into the room at the worst time. Sadly, I didn't notice that, since I was to busy being hypnotized, until he leaned over me and commented on what I was doing.
"You should close your mouth and wipe of the drool there, Lover-boy."
I was about to get angry at him until I released I did have my mouth a gape and I was drooling.
"I was sleeping with my eyes opened..." I lied.
"So you sleep with a lovey-dovey look on your face. Seriously I saw little hearts flouting above your head."
I frowned, "You're not funny, Josh"
I heard a laugh, "I thought it was kind of funny" Alex...
"You're awake!" I shouted at him.
"Yeah, and I totally saw you checking me out" he winked. Josh just laughed and walked out of the room chanting 'I told ya' so"
I blushed madly at the fact that Alex knew about me staring at him like a creeper.
"aw, it's okay Jess.", he smiled, "I know you just can't help but stare at a magnificent face like mine"
...sadly it was true, and the idiot that I am I replied with, "yeah" I even smiled and sighed while saying it. Oh god, what am I turning into.
"I see your little head hearts, Jesse"
"huh?" I looked up, then felt like a totally dumb ass for it. He laughed at me, which I punched him on the shoulder for.
"Jess, stop tickling me!" He laughed some more.
"Oh, that was just mean!" I said pouting and crossing my arms. I looked up and saw that he got a sad expression on his face.
"I'm sorry Jesse! I don't wont to make you sad or hate me! Please don't be sad or hate me!"
"I don't, it was just teasing me. Why would I be that mad over that?"
"I shouldn't tease you!" He grabbed both of my shoulders and pulled me closer to him so we were face to face.
I held my breath, not just because of my heart feeling like it was going to burst it's way through my throat, but because of my morning breath. Our noses were practically touching and I could feel him breathing through his nose. He stayed silent too, I am pretty sure we wanted to say something but he was either
1. To afraid from being so close, like me, to say anything. Or 2. Also like me, afraid of his breath.
I had a feeling it was both.
